Review: Fantasy for Her, Her Ultimate Pleasure Oral Sex Simulator by Pipedream (Luxury Edition)

The Ultimate Pleasure - a vibrating pump with a flicking tongue inside and a long handle - laying on its instructions. Its storage bag and a different pump head are sprawled behind it. Everything is laying on glimmering gold paper.

The “Her” Ultimate Pleasure Oral Sex Simulator went viral on social media last year (in the original purple) because most people had never seen anything like it. It vibrates, it pumps, it licks your clit.

I’m not a fan of the company that released it, but I am a fan of innovation. The Ultimate Pleasure is definitely innovative – and probably my favorite sex toy release yet.

what does the her ultimate pleasure actually do?

The UP laying across a brochure detailing features.

The Ultimate Pleasure has three stimulating features:

  • a medium-firm silicone tongue that vibrates while moving back and forth
  • a pussy pump with 2 detachable cup options that sucks/plumps your skin
  • a vibrating handle with a g-spotting curve

These features are controlled individually, so you can pick and choose what you use in a session. I like to start off using the handle on my clit to get turned on, then switch to using the tongue. If I’m in the mood for stronger sensation, I pop one of the cups on and use the pump while the tongue keeps wagging.

Spoiler alert: it’s fucking exquisite.

But it also takes some getting used to.

the ultimate pleasure design and branding

I mostly call this toy the “Ultimate Pleasure,” but its full name is Fantasy for Her – Her Ultimate Pleasure. “Her” is in the title twice to make sure silly lady brains understand it’s for vaginas. (Oh no, are you still not sure? What if we made it purple for girls?)

Gendering a sex toy is unnecessary, alienates trans customers like me, and makes forgettable, tacky toy names even worse. Booo!

Despite how much the Ultimate Pleasure has going on, it’s not a big toy. It’s 10 inches tall, and the fuckable handle – finished with body-safe silicone – is 1.5 inches wide (the average diameter of dildos and penises.) Both pumping cups – also lined with silicone – are relatively small. I get the most use out of the narrower one because I can spread my labia around it for more direct access to my clit.

The Ultimate Pleasure was originally only available in bland princess purple (like the rest of the Fantasy for Her line.) Then Pipedream came out with the 24K Gold Luxury Edition, which they handed out at the Golden Globes. It’s sleek, sexy, and reminds me of lipstick and sports cars. It looks like an adult toy. I actually want to fuck it.

The gold plating consists of a single band at the bottom of the handle. Gold-colored plastic would have the same look and cost less… but hey, now my broke ass owns something gold.

what does the ultimate pleasure’s tongue feel like?

The Fantasy for “Her” Ultimate Pleasure’s tongue is as wide as my finger and about an inch(?) long. The silicone is only a little squishy, but its finish is soft and sleek. Drizzle some water-based lube on it and it’s far more tongue-like than the Zalo Hero or Aria Flutter, but still not a bona fide match for oral sex.

To me, it’s still the closest these toys have come so far.

Only one of the Ultimate Pleasure’s four buttons is for the tongue. It has three tongue-flapping speeds, and four flapping patterns. Turn it on, and you’re rewarded with a relatively noisy, mechanical whirr. It gets shriller on higher levels. Even with closed door and the fan on, I think it’s pretty noticeable – so if you need a discreet toy, this isn’t it.

The tongue’s stiff, mechanical waving (which is standard oral sex toy design) feels weird at first. The movement is more like a windshield wiper than licking. But the consistency of the motion is very pleasing to my clit. I can angle and direct the tongue wherever I want and know that the “licks” will stay on rhythm.

The curved tip invites me to tease myself with more targeted attention. I can also turn the toy sideways and let the tongue’s broader side sweep back and forth. The latter is best for keeping continuous contact, and makes better use of the ever-present buzzy vibration in the tongue.

I’ve pushed the tongue into my cunt a few times, and it’s… okay? Like a curious fingertip rooting around. It’s too short to do much, especially attached to the rest of the toy. You also can’t clench, because if you put pressure on the tongue, it can’t flap. I had to unlearn my instinct to press it firmly against my clit.

If you like direct clitoral stimulation – like fingertips, firm licks, or oscillators – you might love the Fantasy for “Her” Ultimate Pleasure’s tongue as much as me. I used to hate manual stimulation on my clit (vibe or die), but as I’ve aged out of my 20’s, I’ve come to crave the toe-curling confrontation.

our experience with the ultimate pleasure pump

Here’s where I get a lil cranky.

Unlike traditional pumps, where you hold it against your vulva, breast, etc, and gradually increase pressure, the Ultimate Pleasure Oral Sex Simulator has three pulsing settings where the pump sucks you in and releases. This keeps your blood flow going and keeps you in a loop of the most sensation-rich part of pumping: the initial pull.

A close-up of the circular pump cup, with the Ultimate Pleasure's tongue peeking out.

If you combine that with the steady mechanical flick of the tongue on every inward draw, holy fuck. It takes finessing (and labia-spreading) to get everything lined up how I want it, but it’s worth the fuss. If I could take the handle off this thing and stick one on each tit, I’d never leave my house again.

The combination is too much for my clit past the first setting, but my partner Buster is an enthusiastic recipient – to a point.

A shot of the two pump cups. One is perfectly circular, and the other is a tight oval. There's a Dime leaning against one of the cups for scale.

Pumping with the Ultimate Pleasure can be uncomfortably intense, even for Buster. This toy does not have a gentle suction setting for warming up, which is a bafflingly short-sighted design decision that’s bound to scare off pumping beginners from exploring the feature any further.

If you’re not ready for it, it fucking hurts. I have to be super turned on – like full “spit in my mouth, daddy” kinda horny – to use the pump on my junk.

But what really sucks is that Pipedream didn’t include a dedicated button for pressure release. The instructions claim there’s one, but it doesn’t work. That means that if you want to stop pumping right fucking now (understandable with this toy), you can’t just click a button for it to let you go. You can hold down the power button to shut it off, but if it was currently sucking in… it stays stuck on you, and you have to bodily yank/pry it off. Yikes.

Pumps need quick release buttons. Anything that seals against your skin and sucks on you should have an easy-to-find, easy-to-use button, lever, or trigger that immediately and fully detaches it. I’m pissed that Pipedream didn’t make it a priority on a toy that has near-bruising force.

is the vibrating handle a useless feature?

Like the Zalo Hero, the Ultimate Pleasure Oral Sex Simulator offers vibrations in the handle to try and diversify the toy’s pleasure offerings. There are 3 steady power levels and 7 patterns, which you control with a single button.

The vibrations are mild and buzzy, meaning they stay on the surface of your skin and can feel itchy or numbing at times. I prefer my vibrations to be deep and rumbly. There’s a little bit of rumble to the first setting. Enough to make it work for me for warming up.

The Ultimate Pleasure posed with the Sola Cue. Both have a prominent dip in the shaft.

If you’re anything close to power royalty (or you like even the lowest setting on your average wand vibrator), the Ultimate Pleasure is lacking. The second and third settings are essentially identical; you can hear the motor working harder, but it doesn’t translate to more powerful vibration.

As awkward as it might look, the handle can be used internally. Like the similarly shaped Sola Cue, the toy’s curve comfortably tucks up behind my partner’s pubic bone. It’s more flexible than the Cue, which makes it less jarring when thrusted.

If I was more limber, I’d be tempted to see if my partner can angle the tongue at my clit while they have the Ultimate Pleasure inside them. But I don’t drink wine, and after how old that scissoring vibe made me feel, I feel like I’d need a lot.

final thoughts on the ultimate pleasure

A close-up of the cup and tongue.

I’m legitimately conflicted about the Ultimate Pleasure:

  • It’s rechargeable, waterproof, and made of body-safe materials (minus the optional TPE tongue sleeve, which I discarded after a few uses because it’s porous.)
  • The Luxury Edition looks like a toy for actual fucking grownups. This is something I can’t say for the original. I’m not sure if that justifies the price difference.
  • The sensations are deliciously, toe-curlingly intense… but sometimes, it’s uncomfortable or even painful. The fact that you can’t instantly make it stop is bullshit.
  • I want to fuck robots, so the sound doesn’t bother me, but it’s gonna be a mood-killer for many.
  • The name is bad.

Despite my numerous complaints, the Ultimate Pleasure is now one of my favorite toys. The tongue’s mechanical wagging is totally unique, unlike anything else in my overflowing sex toy cabinet. (EDIT: Not so much anymore..!) I want to see Pipedream come out with a dozen versions with new features and solutions to this one’s shortcomings. I want people who are curious to consider trying it despite its flaws, because it’s so different and can be so good.

And I never want to say or type Fantasy for Her – Her Ultimate Pleasure again.

You can find the Fantasy for “Her” Ultimate Pleasure Luxury Edition on SheVibe for $150 USD (at time of posting.) If you’re not fussed about color, the purple original is $120 USD.

  1. I am a ftm pre-t, do you think this would work well with my dysphoria? I guess what I am trying to ask is do you think this could work to make it look like I jerking off or stimulating me a swell as my wife?
    Thanks in advance

    1. The pump fits over the user’s vulva, so it pumps/swells the entire area as opposed to just the user’s clitoris/cock. If you don’t mind the appearance and sensation of puffy labia, then you might enjoy it.. It doesn’t look or feel like jerking off though, it feels like being sucked/”licked”.

As far as coping with dysphoria, that all depends on you as an individual and what aspects of your genitals cause you discomfort. Different people feel affirmed by different things! I wrote a bit about that over on SheVibe: https://shevibe.com/blog/sex-toys-transgender-people-how-to-use-sex-toys-to-cope-with-gender-dysphoria?rfsn=4817663.6e587d

  2. Can u please tell if the tongue always comes with vibrations or can you set the tongue only for licking without vibrations?
    Thank you
