One of my favorite sex toys is the three-in-one Her Ultimate Pleasure from Pipedream. It’s the oral sex simulator that went viral on social media a few years ago. There are many (many!) imitators, but the Her Ultimate Pleasure Pro Dual is the first official sequel.

It’s the same concept as the original: a toy with a roving robotic tongue, a suction pump for your vulva, and an insertable g-spot vibrator. But the Ultimate Pleasure Pro Dual gives you all these features simultaneously. And it’s fucking amazing.

If you’re watching this with the audio on, you’ll have noticed the Pipedream Ultimate Pleasure Pro Dual is a bit… noisy. As I said of the Lelo Ora: “If you want interesting engineering, you get “interesting” noise. Toys that thrust, toys that wiggle, and toys that lick are all gonna make a racket. That’s fine by me.”

You can hear the tongue’s distinctive whine through a closed door, so make sure to turn on a box fan or some music if you’ve got nosy housemates.

features, functions, and design

Let’s get this out of the way: I find Pipedream’s gendered marketing tacky and outdated. I’ll be dropping the “Her” from hereon out.

The Ultimate Pleasure Pro Dual is strangely shaped, but so are most dual stimulating sex toys. At first glance, the angles don’t make sense – how does it fit? But the insertable arm is actually flexible. The arm unfurls/bends so that once you’ve inserted it, the pump cup (and tongue) will be pressed against your vulva.

First let’s talk about my favorite part of this toy: the robotic tongue. You can control each of Ultimate Pleasure Pro Dual’s functions independently, so if you’re not interested in pumping, detach the pump cup and use the tongue by itself.

Just like the Ultimate Pleasure (and the Rim Joy, which has the same tongue design), the Ultimate Pleasure Pro’s tongue is about 1.5 inches long and pretty firm, although the tip yields/bends under pressure. The silicone has a velvety finish.

The Ultimate Pleasure Pro’s tongue doesn’t undulate or wiggle. It stiffly wags/flaps up and down, zinging with buzzy vibrations. (Just like the regular Ultimate Pleasure, you can’t turn the tongue vibrations off.) There are 3 steady licking speeds and 4 patterned licking speeds.

The Pipedream Ultimate Pleasure Pro comes with two different removable/optional pump cups. One cup is perfectly circular, the other is ovular and slightly curved for a better fit. These cups are made with clear acrylic, which is super rigid. But they’re rimmed with silicone to reduce pinching/pressure when the suction is on.

The suction pump has 3 intensities. Just like the basic Ultimate Pleasure, there’s no steady/constant suction option. Instead, it’s just 3 levels of suction pulsing: brief pulls of air that automatically release.

This toy’s insertable arm has a diameter of 1.5 inches, right around average for a penis/dildo. The shaft (which is silicone) has a velvet-soft surface but is very firm, making it feel girthier in use. The subtle strain/tension of it being unbent inside you adds to this wider feel.

The insertable arm has 3 steady vibration speeds and 7 patterns. We’re not big fans of patterned settings in this house, but I appreciate that some of the Ultimate Pleasure Pro Dual’s patterns are long and slow graduations instead of being choppy (on/off/on/off.)

The Ultimate Pleasure Pro has a looped handle lined with shiny plastic. (I’m so glad looped handles are gaining popularity.) There are 4 buttons down the front of the handle: 3 for the toy’s various features, and 1 immediate release button for the pump. I wish the release button was more prominent/obvious, but at least (unlike the original) it works!

On the back of the handle, you’ll find the magnetic charge port. The magnets are strong enough that I don’t fret that it’ll randomly detach mid-charge. According to Pipedream, a full charge takes about 3 hours (not bad), but only lasts about 90 minutes. That’s made me paranoid about charging it after every use. There’s nothing I hate more than a toy dying in the middle of a session.

So far, you can only get the “Fantasy for Her” Ultimate Pleasure Pro Dual in purple. The original comes in both purple and a luxury red/gold combo worthy of Iron Man. I hope we’ll eventually get the same superhero-y reskin for the Ultimate Pleasure Pro Dual.

our experience with the pleasure pro

The first Pipedream Ultimate Pleasure Pro Dual sent to us by SheVibe malfunctioned after a few uses. (If this happens to you, see SheVibe’s hassle-free replacement policy. I call them the superhero sex shop for a reason!) While we waited for a new one to arrive, my partner Buster yearned.

Dual/rabbit vibrators are hard to shop for because they have to match up with your anatomy to work. Everyone’s body is different, so no rabbit is gonna work for everyone. (Although some designs are more versatile than others.) Lucky us, the Ultimate Pleasure Pro Dual is perfectly suited to Buster’s body.

Given the flexibility of the shaft and the fact that you can forgo the pussy pump if desired/necessary, I think this toy will work for a lot of folks.

I think the biggest potential issue is the insertable arm. You have to take it all to get the tongue and/or pump in place. If you’re not sure you can comfortably enjoy 4.5 inches of firm silicone, go for the original Ultimate Pleasure and a separate dildo of your choice instead.

The Ultimate Pleasure Pro’s flicking tongue provides delicious friction. From my original Ultimate Pleasure review: “The tongue’s stiff, mechanical waving feels weird at first. The movement is more like a windshield wiper than licking. But the consistency of the motion is very pleasing to my clit […] the “licks” stay on rhythm. If you like direct clitoral stimulation – like fingertips, firm licks, or oscillators – you will probably love this.”

Just don’t put too much pressure on the tongue by pinning it too firmly against your body. It needs room to move! If you push too much, the motor stalls out and you’re left with just the vibrations. The buzzy zing is an okay addition to the lapping friction, but isn’t great on its own.

“Unlike a manual pump, where you gradually increase pressure, the Ultimate Pleasure’s automatic pump sucks you in and releases [in pulses.] This keeps your blood flow going and keeps you in a loop of the most sensation-rich part of pumping: the initial pull. When you combine that with the steady mechanical flick of the tongue on every inward draw, holy fuck.”

Just like the original Ultimate Pleasure, I think the Pro Dual’s pump starts off too intense. A gentler setting would go a long way to acclimate sensitive folks and/or first time pump users. (That being said, I imagine if you’re ogling this everything-but-the-kitchen-sink style toy, you’re probably a thrill seeker. Bring on the intensity!)

When we reviewed the original, my partner often tapped out. They have a higher tolerance for suction now. After 20 minutes of continuous use, their labia are puffy and ultra-sensitive. Depending on their mood, that’s usually when the pump cup gets popped off so they can enjoy the tongue by itself. Sometimes they have no choice because the (temporary) swelling gets in way of the tongue.

Then, of course, there’s the new edition that makes this the Ultimate Pleasure Pro Dual Stimulator: the insertable arm. The vibrations aren’t the deep rumbles you can expect from We-Vibe or Fun Factory, but they’re not as light/buzzy as the tongue vibe.

Buster (who generally prefers larger dildos than this) finds the insertable arm to be pretty comfortable. The flexible bend allows them to rock their hips and the rounded tip doesn’t poke their cervix. Best of all, the angled shaft ‘locks’ comfortably around their internal pubic bone, so they can let go of the handle and use the Ultimate Pleasure Pro hands-free. We often use this toy during bondage sex.

Because, ultimately (pun!), that’s what this toy is for: setting it up and just letting it do its thing. If you’re using the pump, you can’t thrust it. But even if you’re going pump-free and just using the tongue, too much movement/thrusting pulls the tongue away from where you want it most. The Ultimate Pleasure is a fucking machine – steady, relentless, and in control until you turn it off.

Somewhat alarmingly, the Pipedream Ultimate Pleasure Pro Dual has an unofficial heating function. Unlike the Rim Joy, which warms up on purpose, the Ultimate Pleasure’s handle/core gets hot just from being on. It can get pretty toasty! My partner doesn’t notice it besides some extra warmth when they close their thighs, but I can feel it in the lower handle whenever I hold or adjust the toy for them. We typically use this toy for 35 minutes to an hour (it’s good enough for a marathon) and it’s never stalled or shut off from the additional heat. But I’m not totally confident my replacement’s motor won’t overheat one day. (To be clear, our first unit’s defective tongue detached. The motor temp had nothing to do with its malfunction.)

My other major complaint is how complicated this toy can be for first time users. I can’t fully fault Pipedream for that – it’s a complex design! But to help folks overwhelmed by this robotic beast, I wrote some tips:

Before you use:

The Ultimate Pleasure Pro Dual is not a warm up sex toy. This is something you use when you’re already aroused and relaxed. There’s 3 reasons for this:

• The vagina relaxes/expands when you’re turned on. That’s necessary for taking a thick, firm toy like this.
• When you’re turned on, the clitoris gets harder (like an erection.) This makes it more pleasurable to get slo-mo smacked by the firm flapping tongue.
• Automatic suction/pumping can feel really intense! Some folks like going 0 to 60; others need acclimating first.

So pull up some porn and grab your rumbly We-Vibe Touch first.

How to get the toy situated:

Getting the Ultimate Pleasure Pro Dual in place is easier if you use two hands (or let a partner do it for you.) If you’re going to be using the suction/pumping function, fit the pump cup of your choice on first. Make sure you give the cup a quarter turn to lock it in place.

First, bend the insertable arm back so the pump cup is out of the way and you have more room to work. Lube up and insert the arm about half way inside yourself. At that point you can switch your focus to situating the pump cup against your vulva.

Between the flexibility of the arm, and the fact that you can tilt the handle to and fro, there’s a lot of versatility to the fit. When you feel things are angled right for you, push everything fully into place.

For the suction to work, the Ultimate Pleasure Pro pump needs to have an airtight seal (meaning the pump cup has to sit flat all the way around.) If you’re having trouble, see my SheVibe guide to pumping. (Quick suggestions: line the cup’s silicone edge with lube, spread or tuck your labia, hold the cup down.) My partner has a “buried” clitoris; they have to spread their labia open and use the smaller pump cup.

The pump might make some pretty awkward noises if you don’t get a perfect fit from the start. But noisy slurps and fluttery farts never hurt anyone! Just laugh and keep adjusting.

If you can’t get the pump situated comfortably, or if you find the suction to be too intense, don’t worry: you can use the Ultimate Pleasure Pro Dual without the pump. The tongue has plenty to offer!

How to use the buttons:

Getting used to the Pipedream Ultimate Pleasure Pro‘s buttons can be tricky. I wish they were marked with more obvious symbols! The top ~ is for the tongue, the middle arrows are for the pump, and the bottom ~ is for the insertable arm’s vibrations. The button you need to memorize is the air pressure release: the ⇩

If the suction is ever too much, the ⇩ button gives immediate relief. If you need to stop the entire toy in a hurry, holding ⇩ down for 3 seconds turns off everything: suction, tongue, and vibration. I can find the air release button without looking by putting my finger high on the handle and sliding down. When I get to the second button, I know I’ve got the air release.

Cleaning the Ultimate Pleasure Pro:

Unfortunately, this toy is not waterproof. (Boo, Pipedream!) That means you need to be careful when cleaning it. I wash mine in my bathroom sink, often with less care/caution than I should. But ideally:

• • Wash the pump cups separately (make sure to remove the silicone rims so no fluid is left behind)
  • Use sensitive skin safe soap in a lather, especially in gunky areas like the insertable shaft, tongue, and loop handle
  • For a thorough clean, lightly scrub the divot/plate (where the cup clicks in) with a q-tip or bottle brush
  • To rinse, keep the toy upright and don’t let water spray directly inside the tongue plate or tiny air hole on the back of the handle

final thoughts

The Pipedream Ultimate Pleasure Pro Dual is another toy that’s made its way out of my office and into my bedroom on a permanent basis.

It’s not perfect. In fact, I imagine it’s gonna get a few (arguably fair) negative reviews from blogging peers. It’s complicated to use, the buttons could be better differentiated, the motor heats up too much, and it’s annoying to clean. Pipedream’s construction isn’t the sturdiest and their marketing is offensively dated. But there isn’t another sex toy that can simultaneously suck, fuck, and lick you. And besides so-so vibrations, this toy does it really well!

For my partner and I, the Ultimate Pleasure Pro’s everything-but-the-kitchen-sink kind of experience is well worth the hassle.
