Review: Amplus Thick 7″ Abstract Silicone Dildo by Uberrime

The Uberrime Amplus Abstract Dildo posed on fake grass with an ice cooler tipped over in the background. It's standing next to a can of coke for scale.

Who among us hasn’t – in an especially heated moment – desperately thought: I want to shove a whole coke can inside me? (Or a can of Pepsi. Far be it from me to sodashame.)

The Amplus Abstract Dildo from Uberrime is a squishy, body-safe answer to that raw craving. It’s not an exact match for a pop can (which google ostensibly reports as having a 3 inch diameter), but it’s still an impressive 2.55 inches across.

Fuckable human orifices are pretty extraordinary. They’re elastic enough that – with patience and practice – you can stuff ‘em full like Christmas stockings. They stretch and relax back. The Amplus strikes me as a good choice for folks working their way up, who want the girth of monster dicks but not their strange or complex shapes.

amplus design & features

This dildo – like all toys from Uberrime Handmade Dildos – is made of body-safe silicone. That means it’s non-porous (no harboring bacteria!), can be sanitized (crucial if you use your toys in multiple orifices), and will outlast everything but that Nokia you’ve been carting around in storage for 15 years.

The Uberrime Amplus posed with the Uberrime Element 4.

The Uberrime Amplus takes its fat torpedo shape from the Element 4, one of the toys in Uberrime’s simplistic Elements line. The design is intentionally minimal: a dome head tapers into the Amplus’s thick shaft, which widens out like a barrel. It ends with an uber-thick flared base, stamped with the Uberrime name.

You can use the Amplus vaginally or anally thanks to the fat hockey puck of a base. I have big hands so I’m fine holding this base, but if you’ve got petite grippers, keep potential struggles in mind.

(You can also use the Uberrime Amplus Dildo in a strap-on harness with an XL o-ring. As a plus size person, I prefer longer shafts to compensate for my belly hogging the spotlight! So I haven’t tested the Amplus in that capacity.)

The Amplus’s surface is textureless, smooth and glossy. Lube glides across it like water. There’s no ridges or matte texturing to create extra hitching or tugs. Beyond sheer girth, the Amplus’s only stimulating feature is the slight mushrooming of the head.

There are a few advantages to this. You don’t have to navigate protruding shapes (like the Igneus Dragon’s squishy spikes), which means – if you’re up for movement – you can thrust with ease. Your lube won’t get suctioned into scales or crevices (as is the case with some fantasy toys) so you won’t need to reapply as often. Best of all, you won’t have to constantly adjust the toy in-use to make sure it’s facing the right way. Any which way is the same way.

SheVibe carries the Amplus Abstract Dildo in this spiffy macaw coloration. I absolutely fucking love it. If you lack taste and insist on something different, Uberrime offers dozens of color combinations on their website.

our ample experience

As with any insertable sex toy but especially one of this size, it’s important you prep appropriately. If you’re using the Uberrime Amplus Abstract Dildo vaginally – as my partner and big silicone dick enthusiast Buster did for this review – that means being fully aroused (allowing the vagina to expand to its full depth) and starting with smaller toys.

For Buster, the Uberrime Sensi (1.6”), Pris Basilisk (1.7-2”), and Uberrime Maximus (2.25-2.4”) come first. On some occasions, the Amplus is itself just a step on the way to the Uberrime Anurian.

The Amplus’s head appears tapered, but it’s so slight that you’re essentially taking the toy’s max girth right from the start. Even after a languid build-up, it’s a considerable stretch. Be ready! Luckily the silicone is squishy, so it’s pushy, not punishing.

That being said, this toy is smooth sailing when it’s gleaming with Sliquid Sassy or Vibeology Naked. The Amplus’s blunt, rounded tip doesn’t have to be managed like the Uberrime Anurian’s (which has a knuckle-like double tip that pokes and drags.) It just wedges you open and spreads you all the way in. When used vaginally, the head crowds Buster’s cervix but is too soft and wide to jolt it.

Buster usually kicks their heels against the mattress as the Amplus Dildo is first being pushed in. It might not be a coke can, but oh boy is it filling.

Fucking my partner with the Amplus is fun. As soon as they’re adjusted to the aching stretch, I can start pistoning this thing without fuss or finesse. There’s no need to twist it to avoid something textured on the shaft or angle it towards their g-spot. It’s just a fat barrel of soft silicone, and it’s touching everything.

“Not being textured makes it comfortable to hold in or be fucked with,” Buster says in their test session notes. “It’s “plain” so you get to enjoy being super full, like really super full, and trying to clench around it. There’s no distractions. Even the head is mild, you can feel the bulge of it but it doesn’t “pop” like the Divo Dual Density’s crown.”

If you need something – anything – other than serious girth to satisfy you, the Amplus is going to bore you. But if you’re after something sleek and filling in this size range, you’ve found it.

The Amplus Abstract Dildo is somewhat plug-like in shape, but it’s not wearable like a butt plug. The base of the Amplus’s shaft (which would be the ‘neck’ on a plug) isn’t narrow enough to allow your hole to rest/close. Its sheer weight, shape, and lack of grippable texture mean your body will want to push the Amplus out – and it’ll succeed without intervention. (Like squeezing your thighs shut, straddling a pillow, sitting in a chair, or wearing a plug harness.)

final thoughts

Torpedo, soda can, barrel – I’ve described the fat, abstract Uberrime Amplus Dildo a number of ways. But as varied as the descriptors may be, the source is… pretty plain. And it’s meant to be.

The Uberrime Amplus is as basic as it gets. It isn’t meant for folks who want specific, targeted pressure on their g-spots, a-spots, or prostates. Instead, it offers broad, consistent pressure across your internal walls. It’s for size royalty who want something big, squishy, and so smooth it can be nicknamed Baldy. If you haven’t ventured past toys with diameters well over 2 inches, you’re not ready for this one.

If you’re among the horny masses who’ve wanted to wedge themselves open with a coke can, and you’d prefer to do it safely and comfortably – the Amplus is an ample offer.

Find it on SheVibe and Uberrime’s own site.

Thank you, Uberrime, for providing the Amplus Abstract Dildo in exchange for an honest review. I consider Marco (Uberrime’s founder) a friend, but that doesn’t influence my opinions of their toys except to give me additional insight and appreciation for the artistry. I still hate the Amo (functionally, not aesthetically.)
