A realistic cock straining against agonizingly tight rope? Truly, the Uberrime Bound Bondage Dildo 2.0 (and Bound XL) is a dildo fit for a dominant.
The Uberrime Bound is one of those rare sex toys that turns me on by appearance alone. I’m usually just drawn to a sex toy’s utility/potential. But the Uberrime Bound is hot even if I’m not contemplating all the fun ways I’m going to use it on my partner.
I mean, who doesn’t love a bullied cock? Especially one you don’t have to bother untying when you’re done.

uberrime bound 2.0 design
The Bound 2.0 is a body-safe silicone dildo with a flat flared base. It’s anal safe if you’re so inclined, and can be used in a strap-on harness.
This bondage-themed dildo was designed by the fine folks over at SheVibe. (They’re the masterminds behind more designs than people realize.) Initially, it was manufactured by Tantus in their original ultra-firm silicone. SheVibe recently switched production to Uberrime Handmade Dildos. The Bound is now softer and more flexible.
The Bound 2.0 comes in two sizes. The basic Bound sticks to realism with an appropriately “average” size: 6 insertable inches and a shaft diameter of 1.3 inches. The head – with its crown framed by knotted rope – is a smidgen wider at 1.5 inches.
The Uberrime Bound XL is downright monstrous in comparison. Its towering 9 inch shaft and hole-stuffing 2 inch diameter are right at home with my other giant Uberrime dildos, like the Titan and Igneus Dragon.
In an ocean of veiny realistic dildos, the Bound stands out with its kinky attire. The bindings are finely detailed to look like twisted rope (which in real life is formed by winding two distinct strands of hemp, jute, etc, together for strength and gripping texture.) Even though the dildo is made of a single piece of silicone, the rope looks real, like it’s cinched so tightly the shaft is manipulated and bulging.
If you’re a sadist (*raises hand*), you’ll want to lick the angry veins and straining skin. If you’re a masochist, you’ll feel yourself aching in sympathy (and/or jealousy) at the tortuously looped rope. But even if you’re not drawn to the Bound’s simulated agony, it’s an appealing design for texture enthusiasts.
SheVibe offers the Bound 2.0 and Bound 2.0 XL in 3 colors: mermaid blue-green-green, luster black, and Nola purple. Each one shimmers with a glittery sheen. This is one toy I wish SheVibe opted to carry in skin tones, but I’m still happy with my inky black space dildos.
our experience: bound 2.0
As is always the case with insertable toys, my partner Buster did the testing for this review.
The first time we used the Uberrime Bound 2.0, I was surprised at how filthy the sound was. Thrust the Bound and its lube-slicked features will audibly squish and squelch like the best kind of greedy sex. If the fantasy angle tickles your fancy, it’s easy to imagine how torturous such a good fuck would be to a cock that’s helplessly tied up. Unf.
SheVibe calls the Bound “super textured,” and they’re not wrong. At least not compared to how featureless most dildos are in comparison. While I wish the Bound was a slightly firmer density (its silicone squishes a little under pressure), even in its comfortably soft density you can feel the twisted ridges of the rope. It’s not abrasive (and part of me feels like maybe it should be, even though that would limit its consumer appeal) but it’s definitely not subtle.
For Buster, the rope is especially notable at the head/crown. It offers a gentle, rippling, tugging massage with slow thrusts. “You can even feel some of the dick bulges, like where it’s wider [towards the top],” Buster’s notes read.
Even though it looks great visually, it’s a little disappointing that the thickest banding of rope is at the base of the dildo. It’s too low to feel in use. I wish there was a knot of rope in the center of the shaft, or more loops in general.
This toy is all about its texture. It’s an almost perfectly straight shaft and the head doesn’t really “pop” off the shaft, so there’s no prominent g-spot/prostate stimulation. So if you want texture and targeted stimulation, you might have to shop around.
Compared to the original, the Bound 2.0 is buttery. The Tantus version is as hard as a rock (shore 20A if you’re a dildo nerd) and, strangely, the uniqueness of the texture is lost in use. Buster, at least, is too distracted by how grating the Tantus’s firmness and hyper-matte surface is. The 2.0 (shore 6A) is flexible, bendable, and squeezes like rubber. It doesn’t noodle around even with rough or rapid thrusts. If the snub-tipped head bumps your cervix, it’s a gentle nudge.
Like most textured toys (even with a glossy finish), the Bound likes lube. It’ll get pulled into the rope crevices in use, so you might need to reapply from time to time. Cleaning is more tedious than a featureless dildo, but the soft silicone makes it easier to rinse. Just press down with the pad of your thumb as you wash it.
our experience: bound 2.0 XL
Unlike the basic Bound, the Uberrime Bound XL is so big (and soft) it can’t stand up on its own. Its base would need to be (comically) larger/wider to compensate for its towering girth and yielding density.
But, oh, that towering girth. As soon as I heard they were taking on the Bound, I started wheedling, badgering, and begging Uberrime for a supersized option. So much so that after it was made, my review XL was mailed to me for expedience’s sake. Ordinarily I just show up in person to pilfer the studio’s silicone treasures! It’s everything my partner (who – in case you skipped the last section – tests these toys) and I wanted.
To be clear, a 2.2 inch diameter is for experienced girth enthusiasts. Painless use of this toy requires practice taking large dildos. It’s also a good idea to warm up with smaller toys first, because the vaginal canal relaxes/deepens with further arousal.
In use, the XL’s density feels indistinguishable from the Uberrime Igneus Dragon: soft but not blubbery. It’s the same density as the basic Bound 2.0, but its size makes it seem squishier because there’s more surface to yield.
Like the basic Bound, the Bound XL makes a lot of noise in use. Filthy, wet sex noises that almost rival the sexy slorping of the Uberrime Teuthida Tentacle. If you want to pop on a video call with a subby long-distance partner and lovingly (and consensually) tease them for being smaller than this gargantuan dong, there’ll be plenty of sound effects to emphasize your point.
The Bound 2.0 XL pushes on every inch of your internal walls, its sheer size making its unique texturing less apparent. It’s hard to appreciate details when you’re being wedged open with sleek, squishy silicone. Being stuffed full with a consistently delicious girth is distracting. “If you or I thrust it slow, I can feel the ropes at the head, and some of the bulging/unevenness of the shaft, texture-wise,” Buster’s notes say.
If texture is your focus and you’re content with average-sized insertables, I’d definitely recommend the basic Bound 2.0 over the XL. It’s easier to suss out the details.
Another potential downside of the Bound XL is how unwieldy it is. Like literally any dildo of this size, unless you’re using it anally (which – with practice – offers deeper recesses), there will be several inches of excess dildo. Fat, heavy dildo. If you’re using it solo, you’ll probably have to hold it by the shaft instead of the base, which means some extra reaching/straining. It also makes it a little too floppy (by height) for Buster to straddle and ride.
When I’m holding it, these extra inches aren’t an issue. I’ve got a big hand and I’ve been slinging massive silicone cock for years. But it’s something to keep in mind if you’re looking to size up and you don’t have a dildo daddy at the ready.
final thoughts on the bound
I’m so glad this dildo exists. As a kinkster and a sadist, I’m thrilled with its BDSM inspired design. I wish there were more toys like it. Fantasy dildos don’t have to be limited to monsters and inanimate objects. They can be realistic penises with kinky or whimsical themeing, whether it’s a set of cock rings, rope bondage, or maybe a second cock.
I’d personally enjoy a slightly stiffer density to add a bit of scratch to the Bound 2.0’s ropey texturing. But I think this squishier density was a good call from SheVibe/Uberrime. More people will be able to painlessly enjoy this painfully bound cock in all its textured glory.
Being handmade (and probably tricky to pour to Uberrime’s flawless standards), the Bound 2.0 is $90 USD. The Bound 2.0 XL is only $125 USD despite requiring like 3 times the silicone. That’s not bad for such niche toys.
Find yours on SheVibe.
Thank you, Uberrime, for providing the Bound 2.0 in exchange for an honest review. I consider Marco (Uberrime’s founder) a friend, but that doesn’t influence my opinions of their toys except to give me additional insight and appreciation for the artistry. I still hate the Amo (functionally, not aesthetically.)

Great review, I really like the visual on this toy, so I appreciate the in use info. Though you may want to update that the pricing on Shevibe is actually $89 USD for the Bound 2.0 and $150 USD for the Bound 2.0 XL. Unfortunately, they must have raised the price after your posting.
Thank you!
And yeah, silicone’s price has gone up dramatically (and unprecedentedly) in the last few months. 🙁 I think I might just take amounts out of my reviews completely, because every time I think things have settled, the material cost rises again and everyone has to bump their prices. 3
