I moved into a bigger place earlier this year. This gave me way more room for storing and displaying my sex toys. I’ve assembled quite a collection – including over 40 vibrators, 75 dildos, and 7 wands – and wanted to keep them organized.
I knew I wanted a toy storage organizer, but I waffled about which one until I found the Humble Crew Black and White Organizer. It has 16 storage bins, and it’s less likely to tip over because it has steadying wedges on the sides. (I’m autistic and struggle with spacial awareness – furniture needs to be bump-proof.) I love having everything out in the open and sorted into categories. I wash everything regularly, so dust isn’t a big concern.
Most folks don’t have a collection this big – and many don’t want to put toys on display. That’s just fine! In my search for storage options, I came across a number of different ideas that might better suit your needs.
1. For the Fixin’s – Lockable Tool Boxes
Are you working with a modest assembly of sex toys? Maybe a rabbit, a dildo, and a body-safe stroker or two? A tool box may be all you need! They’re innocuous and uninteresting, so they’re much less likely to catch the interest of snoopers.
Many tool boxes – like the Sheffield Stackable Storage Box (which comes in pink, orange, red, blue, etc) or the Vaultz Locking Tool Box – come with locks to prevent curious kiddos or clothes-stealing siblings from taking a peek. Need something big? The Yaheetech Heavy Duty Aluminum Tool Box is beastly.
2. Taking a Load Off – Storage Benches
If you have room in your bedroom for some additional furniture, storage benches can give you a place to stash your screwables and a place to sit. (Bonus oral sex and/or foot worship spot!) They can also be semi-discreet, if you hide your toys beneath a folded spare blanket.
Storage benches (and ottomans, if you’re short on space) come in countless styles to match your aesthetic. Masculine and rustic, artsy, decorative and retro, rockabilly, or comfy and classic – just to name a few. There are smaller budget options too.
3. Convenient Cling-On – Hanging Bedside Organizers
Where can you keep your ipad, phone, Womanizer Duo, and six different remotes? A fabric bedside organizer, of course. There are literally hundreds of styles available, from blue canvas to black caddies with metal hooks.
If your toy collection is small and you don’t need to worry about nosy children or curious cats (or pugs…), bedside organizers have plenty of room for a few favorites and your most-used lube. There’s even one that includes a slot for tissues or wet wipes, hint hint.
4. Hiding in Plain Site – Concealment Furniture
Concealment or “hidden storage” furniture comes in many forms, usually either with a secret draw or an obscured compartment. Some bedroom-ready examples include this side table with a bottom slide-out, a night stand with lift top, and this classic pine bedside table with a large but shallow compartment. If you host play parties in your living room, you might prefer something roomier like a lift top coffee table.
If your collection is quite substantial, you could always get a whole bed.
5. Up and Away – Over the Door Organizers
Most often optimized for shoe storage, over-the-door organizers are great because they save space and keep your possessions easily accessible but out of your way. They’re another favorite of bloggers because they’re great for showcasing your favorite rabbits, dildos without bulky suction cups, and g-spot vibes.
Most over-the-door organizers are budget-friendly plastic and relatively long. Need something smaller? This 2 Pack of 6 Large Mesh Pockets or the stripey fabric Waterproof Hanging 4 Pocket Storage are cute. Something wider/sturdier? Maybe the 6 Black Clear Window Pocket Organizer! There’s even metal baskets and shelving options, if for example all you need is space to lay a few dildos and hang up some harnesses.
6. Treasure Trove – Storage Trunks
It’s too late to pack up for Hogwarts, but you can still store your magic wand! Storage trunks come in a variety of sizes and styles, and can be used as decorative pieces or stashed in the bottom of a closet.
Here are a few attractive examples: plain black Under the Bed Trunk, Wooden Treasure Trunk, punk Folding Footrest Storage Trunk.
7. Clever and Convenient – Moi Box Deluxe
The Moi Box Deluxe is a handsome sex toy organizer with a combination lock from House of Plume. The back of the box has an opening so you can still charge your sex toys while storing them. The included carrying case (which can also be purchased separately) is easy to pick up and toss in a bag if you’re traveling post-pandemic. No more forgetting your favorite cockring or bullet vibe on the way to a hookup or in a last minute packing rush.
8. Discreet Shelf Décor – Hidden Storage Books
False books are probably the most infamous secret storage option. Thieves and intrusive housemates aren’t likely to reach for your dusty TBR pile, and who doesn’t want to store their weed and a We-Vibe Tango in a fake Bible? (Or maybe a pretty glass dildo in a copy of Alice in Wonderland? Or a butt plug in this kinky-looking buckled book?)
To ensure your toys are tamper-proof, there are also locked options, like this combination lock book safe (and a thicker option) or key lock Dictionary.
The obvious downside to fake book storage: unless you’re falsifying an entire shelf of books (or collecting the classics), your stashable unmentionables have to be small.
9. Transparent Toy Cataloging – Clear Plastic Drawers
Clear plastic drawers are a staple among sex bloggers. Our collections have to be well-organized, easily accessible, and at least semi-visible so we can quickly grab toys for review comparisons or social media posts. They’re also great for stickers:
If you have a sizeable collection, the Black 5 Drawer Rolling Cart, Wide 3 Drawer Black Storage, or Smoke Tint 4 Drawer Cart are appealing options for organizing your fuckables. When you outgrow it, you can double up with a second set!
If see-through plastic isn’t your thing (not everyone wants to kiss and tell and that’s okay!), there’s always solid plastic drawers (perhaps in pastel pink?), fabric drawers, or a traditional small dresser.
10. Bedtime Bottom – Under the Bed Storage Bags
Short on storage space and want your gear kept close? Under the bed storage bags! These are usually compact, rectangular, and zippered. Many of them have dividers to better organize the things you’re tucking away, like lingerie and the entire California Dreaming sex toy collection.
Some promising possibilities? This sturdy Shoe Storage With Customizable Slots, this Red and Black Wrapping Paper Storage, and this 3-Pack Storage Containers With Clear Windows.
If bags aren’t your style but you still want to store your toys under the bed, you can also grab a few fabric totes, a long plastic bin with a lid, or my favorite pick: this 3-Drawer Metal Frame Storage.
None of these options working for you? There’s always a fabric tote with “Toys” on it! Unsubtle, yet satisfying.

Aah, this post gave me so many ideas! I’m in the process of doing some reorganising so am doing some research to see how other folks sort/store/display their sex toys, and honestly I think I definitely need to invest in a hanging bedside organiser no matter what method I eventually go for. But I also love the over-the-door shelving options – maybe I need that for non-sex-toy related organisation?
love wands they are my favorite sex toys I prefer them to be plunged into a wall.
What if you’re headed to your local spot and you don’t want to walk up three flights of stairs with a steamer trunk?
