Review: Neo Elite 6 Inch Dual Density Suction Cup Dildo by Blush Novelties

There’s not a lot of overlap in the venn diagram of “budget-friendly sex toys” and “dual density silicone.” Dual density dildos – which generally have a plush outer layer and rigid core – are complicated to make and in high demand, so they tend to be more expensive.

Or at least, most of them are more expensive.

Neo Elite is a new line of dual density dildos in brilliant neon colors from Blush Novelties. They have strong suction cups, and – apart from their flashy colors – they’re closer to the realistic penis end of the dildo design spectrum. There are currently four models, all somehow priced between $30 and $36 USD.

And this includes one that is neon freakin’ green.

Peepshow Toys – whose inventory is exclusively body-safe, so you never have to doubt if a toy you’re purchasing is one made from a material you can trust – sent me said green dildo (the Neo Elite 6 Inch) for review.

the details

The Neo Elite 6 Inch comes in two colors: the best color ever, and an admittedly awesome shade of neon pink. As can be expected from its name, it’s 6 inches tall, but only 4.5 inches are insertable and the rest is devoted to the suction cup and balls. It’s 1.4 inches in diameter, which is just a bit below average – awesome if you prefer your toys on the slim side!

It’s a pretty detailed toy, with a defined and delightfully squishy head. The shaft is flexible and subtly etched with wrinkles and raised veins, and ends with a pair of lined, asymmetrical balls. The outer layer is very plush, but it’s not tacky like the similarly squishy-surfaced Vixskin Mustang. (It’s also not quite as soft as the Mustang.)

The balls are only one-sided, with the underside made of smooth, rigid silicone. The same stiff silicone is used for the suction cup, which is incredibly strong, and actually serves as a pretty decent handhold.

the experience

The Neo Elite 6 Inch sits in the middle of the ‘not quite the size for me’ range in my Goldilocks household. My partner prefers toys above average size, and because my vagina is haunted by bees, I can’t use toys over a 1.2-inch diameter.

However! This is a really great dildo, y’all.

The Neo Elite 6 Inch is perfect for vigorous thrusting. It doesn’t have a curve, holds its shape in use due to its firmer core, and its head is squishy, all of which mean it’s not going to inadvertently jab you while you thrust. The minimal texturing of its veins are imperceptible in use and its finish is soft and sleek (especially with lube), providing a smooth ride with just a bit of pop from the head’s ridge.

If you’re in want of g/p-spot stimulation, you’ll have to know your body well enough to angle it accordingly, because – at least for Buster – the ridge isn’t prominent enough for effortless g-spot massage. For a more targeted approach to g/p-spot stim, consider something more intentional like the Splendid Small.

strap-on play

My favorite part of the Neo Elite 6 Inch – besides the fact that it’s dual density – is its stiff suction cup. Though it probably won’t work in all harnesses, when I wrestle it into my Ardor Leather Harness, it’s a tight fit but incredibly stable. I love that the balls aren’t trapped behind the ring, which allows them to remain part of our play. The cup sometimes gets compressed during thrusts, but mostly it remains pert, which helps the Neo Elite 6 Inch sit pretty on my pubic mound.

My partner and I love dual density dildos because their “realistic” feel is gender affirming and really fun for slow sex and blowjobs. I’m thrilled they’re becoming more financially accessible. Too many consumers still choose toys made of unsafe materials because, until recently, that’s what was made the most realistic and affordable.

final thoughts

While the Neo Elite 6 Inch isn’t the right size for Buster nor for me, it’s not supposed to be. It was made for folks in search of a dildo that’s mild in size and wild in color, with a dash of realism in both feel and design. Because it’s visually interesting but physically unintimidating. I highly recommend it as someone’s first dildo, or as a step-up from plugs for anal. (For more on its capabilities as a butt toy, give Queer Earthling’s excellent review a read!)
