I recently went (vaxxed and masked) to a movie theater for the first time in about two years. A momentous occasion! Naturally, I saw the movie about the crappy journalist and his goopy alien husband.

Venom is prime monster fucker fodder. His sinister jaws, tentacle-esque limbs, voilent and unquenchable cravings… He’s ripe for the unsubtle horny side of cape comics and movies, literally oozing sex appeal in the right penciller or VFX artist’s hands. Slap that imagery over Tom Hardy’s dual performance, and you have made weirdoes like me very happy.

In anticipation of Let There Be Carnage, I asked Peepshow Toys if I could review the Venomous Tongue Super Soft Dildo by Mr Hankey’s Toys. (They are so good to me.) Spoilers: it’s everything I could ask for from a Venom-inspired dildo.

The Venomous Tongue comes in four sizes. The XS (which is what I have) is 12 inches tall and 1.7 inches in diameter. It doesn’t feel quite that thick in-use, however, because the shaft is flat-ish and made of incredibly squishy/yielding silicone.

Why is the Venomous Tongue so long? Because like many of Hankey’s Toys, this dildo was designed for anal depth play! As Peepshow Toys’ description says: “made of soft and squishy silicone, the Venomous Tongue bends to match your natural internal contours. It’s lined with textures that will stimulate your anal canal when the Tongue is thrust in and out.”

You can, of course, use the Venomous Tongue vaginally – and in fact, that was our primary testing method. But unlike the anal canal, which continues into the colon (an area that practiced and risk-aware players can venture into), the vaginal canal ends in the impenetrable cervix, so there’s less room to play. That means you’ll either have to leave some of the Venomous Tongue out in the cold, or fold the toy over for some doubled-up penetration.

The Venomous Tongue is beautifully detailed. You can tell whoever designed this toy really wanted to nail that symbiote tongue aesthetic – and they did! The curved/twisted shaft is a perfect imitation of Venom’s prehensile slithering. The central tongue divot and meaty texturing on the toy’s front-facing surface are deliciously fleshy. There’s even straining musculature on the tongue’s underside, giving it added realism.

My monster fucker urges are well satiated by this dildo.

An added bonus to the Venomous Tongue is the pocket for vac-u-lock attachments (which include certain suction cups, handles, and fucking machines) or bullet vibes in its base. Lube up a We-Vibe Tango or Exposed Nocturnal and shlorp it in to add some extra rumble! Just be careful with the hole’s silicone, it’s squishy and can be torn by fingernails or rough use.

Unlike an actual tongue, the Venomous Tongue isn’t a muscle – it’s a fleshy, floppy length of silicone. That means when you’re inserting it, if it encounters any kind of force it’s going to fold over. If you’re not sufficiently physically aroused (which relaxes and deepens the vagina), it’s gonna be tricky using this dildo. So warm up for a minimum of 20 minutes first!

But even when you’re ready and you have the Venomous Tongue lubed up, expect some twisting and bending in use. Feed it into your body slowly while you get used to its wily ways. This tongue is definitely meant for a slithery, wiggly fuck, which is great if you’re after an alien oral experience. If you’re looking for a squishy yet stable dildo, I suggest the marginally firmer, tapered Teuthida Tentacle from Uberrime.

For my partner Buster (who tests all the insertables for this blog), the Venomous Tongue Dildo’s narrow tip is too soft to be pokey even when it flails around their cervix. “It nudges, but in a creepy, erotic way, like it’s feeling me out,” reads Buster’s testing notes.

“The way it moves, bending and nudging around inside when thrusting it is very tongue-like. I’m not sure how to describe the fact it feels like an actual tongue and not a dildo pretending to be a tongue,” Buster’s notes continue. “Even with how soft the silicone is, I can actually feel the texture. It feels like tongue without the muscle mass of a real one. All the bumps and crevices rub internally like a giant, slithering tongue with taste buds and stuff.”

Buster also enjoys using the Venomous Tongue externally. Since the entire toy won’t fit inside their front hole, they can hold the toy at an angle and rub/hump against the thicker lower shaft while slow thrusting. (The fat, flared base would normally obstruct this, but the Venomous Tongue’s base is so squishy it can be taco-folded out of the way with a strong grip.) If we’re feeling extra spicy, I’ll hold the tongue and slide its entire length up and down their vulva. The texture’s not firm enough to orgasm from, but it’s yummy teasing and/or foreplay.

bonus: vibrating vac-u-lock hole

The only vac-u-lock attachment I own is the Realm Sword, and it has too many rough edges to use with the Venomous Tongue Dildo’s tender silicone. (Not to mention the tongue’s long length would make it tricky to manage on a handle.) So for me, the hole is best used for a finger or bullet vibe.

Inserting a finger allows me to wiggle and lightly thrust the tongue. It’s not a deep pocket, so I don’t have a lot of control. But when I’m already gripping around the base’s edge, it’s easy to push my finger into the hole and help guide the dildo.

The most frequent use of the Venomous Tongue’s pocket is bullet vibes. Firm silicone is a better conductor for vibrations, so don’t expect to transform this floppy fellow into a lengthy vibrator. The vibrations don’t travel farther than the first few inches. But that’s the most sensitive place in the vagina, so it’s still a nice bonus for Buster.

The Exposed Nocturnal (which is strong and mostly buzzy) and Tango X (which is strong and rumbly) don’t fully fit in the vac-u-lock hole. They stick out further than toys specifically designed for bullet vibes. That means you have an easier time reaching the buttons, but it’s also kinda awkward.

The Mr Hankey Venomous Tongue offers the same slinky, slithery fuck anally as it does vaginally – but the toy’s fleshy details and wiggling body are even more pronounced in the narrower, nerve-rich channel.

To insert the Venomous Tongue anally, you have to feed it in inch by inch. That means you’ll either have to be flexible enough to reach yourself, or have a partner insert it for you. The first few inches are the most difficult, because the toy starts off so narrow and (even when you’re relaxed) your sphincter muscles can send it askew. Once the toy is mostly inside, its sheer length keeps it on track.

This toy’s size requires a lot of lube, so be prepared to deplete your bottle faster than normal. But that extra wetness adds to the sloppy tongue sensations, so it’s hardly an inconvenience.

The Venomous Tongue’s girth is flattened to be more tongue-like, and this makes it fun to twist in your ass. My testing partner Buster enjoys their hole getting stretched and rubbed from different angles as I slowly turn the base. Its long twisted body churns in tandem, resisting slightly (the soft silicone feels like it’s straining inside them – hot), so they can feel the tongue’s subtle curves.

Twisting the Venomous Tongue while thrusting traps more air than thrusting straight, so make sure you’re ready to giggle. Farts and queefs are kinda inevitable.

Your sphincter gets a lot of play from the Venomous Tongue, but the rest of your ass doesn’t encounter much pressure. That’s not ideal if you’re after targeted prostate stimulation… but it’s great if you’re exploring depth play. Just make sure you’ve done your research, and stop and reassess if you encounter discomfort or pain!

Like the Hellbone Dildo of Doom, the Venomous Tongue was designed to fully embody its source inspiration. I don’t think you could make a better Venom-inspired dildo. Mr Hankey’s Toys has our sincerest gratitude.

But you definitely don’t have to be a fan of Venom to appreciate this tentacle-like tongue’s uniqueness, intricate details, and ultra-flexible density. It’s creepy in all the best ways.

That being said, this toy is all about depth. If you’re using it vaginally, you’re not going to be fully utilizing its full length. (You can fold it in half and insert it doubled up, but the toy strains to unfurl to the point of being unwieldy and uncomfortable.) Keep that in mind when you’re choosing a size, because the maximum girth you can enjoy won’t be towards the base – it’ll be higher up on the shaft.

In hindsight, I wish I’d requested a larger size than the XS. Not just for increased width, but for deeper anal play too. The XS doesn’t slink much deeper than our existing dildos, and Buster’s curious about the sensations that lay beyond. Who better to slurp their way inside one’s colon than Venom?

My anniversary’s coming up. Maybe we should splurge on an M/L…?
