Review: Dulce Uncut Dual Density Silicone Dildo by Uberrime

The Dulce Uncut Dual Density Dildo is part of a collection of realistic dual density dildos from indie maker (and pal of mine) Uberrime Handmade Dildos. It’s an average-sized phallus with a bulbous head and intact foreskin detailing.

I love dildos with foreskin. Body-safe silicone dildos don’t have moveable foreskin (you’ll have to look to porous, unsanitizeable materials like PVC for that) but I find the shaping incredibly sexy. It’s also great to see the sex toy industry slowly acknowledging that intact cocks are normal and desirable, and plenty of folks want uncut dildo designs!

dulce dual density design

Like many of Uberrime’s toys, the Dulce takes its name from Latin: “dulce” meaning “music to my ears.” It has the same deep g-spot/prostate-targeting curve as the Uberrime Praesto, which I reviewed over on Youtube last year. That curve can definitely coax forth some musical moaning.

The Dulce Dual Density Dildo compared to the Uberrime Praesto Dildo

The Dulce Dual Density is a little over 6 inches tall. It has a flat, flared base, making it both anal safe and strap-on compatible. (If you’re keen on suction cups, you can grab a detachable one from SheVibe.) As the name suggests, this dildo has two layered densities: an ultra-firm inner core, and a plush outer layer. This means that the Dulce’s shape remains rigid when you’re thrusting it, but it’s still soft and squeezeable.

This dildo’s shaft is average width (around 1.5 inches in diameter), but the head is fatter (about 1.7 inches) for easier g/p-spot massage. Because of its prominent curl, it feels even girthier in use, so I wouldn’t recommend it to folks who prefer their insertables on the petite side.

You can get the Dulce Dual Density in three skin tones on SheVibe. While Uberrime’s own site uses neutral titles for each tone, SheVibe went with (ugh) food names. My Dulce is the pale tone, and the pigment detail is wild. Uberrime wanted to do realistic tones but with an artistic twist, and it shows. There’s hints and flecks of other colors to give it more depth and nuance like real skin, but there’s still artsy whorls and a glittery sheen like his abstract dildos.

I feel like the coppery mid-tone veers more into fantasy than the others, but otherwise I love the set.

Leaning into the realism, Uberrime added veins and skin texturing to the toy’s surface. These details can’t be felt in use (at least not by my partner) but they add to the mouth-watering visual. The foreskin really looks like it’s a separate piece hugging the head, even though it’s just one solid piece.

our experience with uberrime dulce

I love dual density toys, and Uberrime’s layers have improved since the Splendid Dual Density. The Dulce isn’t as abundantly squishy as Blush’s original Neo Elite dildos or Vixen’s Vixskin line, but in exchange the silicone surface isn’t powdery or tacky like theirs are.

Like the Praesto, my partner Buster prefers to use rocking motions with the Dulce Dual Density instead of thrusts. “This allows us to massage the urethral sponge [where the g-spot is located] with the toy’s bulbous head,” I explain in my video review. “But when we do thrust, the outcropping on the [underside of the] head catches on Buster’s vaginal entrance on the way out. So it’s like an extra, stimulating bump.”

The Dulce Dual Density Dildo posed on top of the Praesto to show its deep curve.

With that reliable levering/rocking action, the Dulce’s tight curve tucks the dildo’s fat head right behind Buster’s pubic bone. The toy’s core keeps the shaft from bending, but it’s not rigid, it doesn’t push and shove like the Anaconda. The Dulce’s head is larger and has more surface give than the Praesto’s, so it’s even easier and more comfortable to rub Buster’s g-spot area. It’s incredibly comfortable.

But as you can probably tell just by looking at it, the Dulce Uncut’s not an especially versatile design. This dildo was shaped for prostate and g-spot massage, and if you don’t want something pressing right on your sensitive spongy bits, this dildo won’t be tilted or coaxed elsewhere. On the other hand, if your g-spot craves hard pressure, the Dulce will probably be too gentle.

dulce’s base & harness use

The Dulce Uncut Dildo’s base is great. The soft outer silicone cushions your grip (or your thighs, if you’re holding it with your legs) but the base isn’t squishy or floppy, so you can get a good grasp. I like its width and size: enough for added stability, but not so much that it’s difficult to store or use in a harness.

To be honest, I haven’t used the Dulce Dual Density in a harness. I need my strap-on dildos to be extra long to reach past my handsome belly. But for less abdominally blessed folks, the Dulce’s prominent curve means it’s not as likely to accidentally pop out in use. I love fat-headed dildos for strap-on sex because you get more drag/resistance feedback as you thrust.

final thoughts on the dulce

If you’re after a thorough but comfortable g-spot massage, the Dulce is a wonderful option. It’s indie-made, body-safe, and can be used vaginally, anally, and in a harness. The Dulce is realistic but has a subtly swirled, glittering sheen to elevate it as an art piece. It’s also a rare example of foreskin representation in sex toys, something I know I’m not alone in appreciating.
