Review: Lush Juna Focused Tip Vibrator with 4 Attachments by Blush Novelties

A small vibrator with a pointed tip, laying on a black surface, with several matching attachments lined up beside it.

As a sex toy reviewer, I’ve amassed quite a collection of fuckables. No two are the same. Even bullet vibrators – the most basic of designs – vary in shape, texture, and vibration.

This variety allows me to explore countless sensations. It teaches me about my body and its ever-changing preferences, and lets me shake things up both for solo and partnered play. I love my Magic Wand Rechargeable, but sometimes I want a little more adventure.

The Lush Juna Vibrator from Blush Novelties offers multiple exploratory options with just one toy. The ultra pinpoint vibe comes with 4 different attachments. Super appealing to my texture-curious clit, at least in concept.

What about in practice?

blush novelties juna design

The Lush Juna is the size of a rosebud (less than 4 inches long), and shaped like one too, with subtle petal lines on the handle. The Juna is firm, with a powdery-soft silicone surface that’s easy to grip because of its draggy texture. Its tip is thicker and sturdy, which makes it feel a lot safer to handle than my expensive, brittle-feeling Zumio.

Aesthetically, the Juna is a match for another toy from Blush Novelties’ Lush line: the Iris Thrusting Rabbit, which I reviewed back in July.

The toy’s single silicone button is surrounded by shiny metallic plastic. The plastic is pretty, but it makes clicking difficult. The button has to be pressed down deeper than the plastic rim, and firmly. I suffer from random hand and wrist pain. If it’s a bad day, I can’t turn the Lush Juna on without my fingers cramping afterward from the awkward strain.

There are 4 additional heads: 2 combs, a pair of bunny ears, and spoon. The brush-like textures on the comb attachments look intimidating, but the pokey bits are soft and pliable.

The Juna has a magnetic charger that can be jiggled loose, so be mindful of how you set it down to charge. The button will pulse with a white light as it charges. A full charge gets you about an hour of use.

It’s only “splash proof,” not waterproof (bummer), so be mindful to not fully submerge it during cleaning or play. I’m not a fan of non-waterproof toys. I’m just too forgetful to not toss everything to soak in a sink. (If you have a small collection, it might be easier for you to keep track of.)

The Juna’s silicone is quality and body-safe, but it gets super linty. If you don’t pat it dry after cleaning, the surface looks smudgy.

what do the heads feel like?

My favorite of the 4 optional attachments is the upward-facing brush. Sweeping over my clit with the soft-but-still-pokey probes is a weird experience, but one I find strangely enjoyable. When I first started masturbating, I’d used a damp makeup brush to stroke on and around my clit; I like abrasive teasing.

(Don’t make my mistake though – stick to body-safe materials like the Lush Juna’s silicone attachments. Getting a UTI sucks.)

The other comb head has stouter probes, so it’s a little harsher when rubbed against. I only tried this one when I was feeling growly and masochistic and wanted to scratch the itch without actually scratching.

The cup and rabbit attachments weren’t quite right for me. The rabbit’s ears are too flexible and wide to frame my clit or nipples the way I want it too. (They’re likely better at tickling penises, as the marketing demonstrates.) The cup’s scoop shape hugs my clit, but rather than envelope it with vibrations, it just muffles the toy’s strength. If you find the Juna’s lowest setting too strong, the cup will be quite useful!

the vibration quality

The Lush Juna Vibrator has 7 settings, only 2 of which are steady speeds. The rest are patterns involving bursts of varied power (2 patterns include a speed that’s between the lowest and highest strength – why wasn’t it made its own setting?)

Personally, I think toys should have a minimum of 3 steady settings. Multiple speeds provide options for people with different sensitives, or a range to rise through on your way to orgasm. The Juna is just “lower high” and “higher high,” with “high” here meaning moderately strong (equivalent to the ultra-powerful Exposed Nocturnal Bullet’s first setting) and sharply buzzy.

The Lush Juna compared to the Zumio and Exposed Nocturnal Bullet.

I was hopeful that the Juna would be a cheaper alternative to the Zumio. Looking closely at the tip, the Juna does appear to move in a tight spiral. But it doesn’t have the muscle to truly oscillate and provide deep, thrumming stimulation like the Zumio. Despite the Juna’s efforts, my clit perceives its stimulation as typical pinpoint vibrations from a super slim tip. All buzz, no movement.

If you like pinpoint vibrations – especially on the buzzy end of the buzz-to-rumble spectrum – you might enjoy the Juna more than I do. But only if you don’t mind being limited to 2 speeds.

holding the juna

It’s very comfortable to grip the Juna’s bulb-shaped handle in my clumsy paw. (Which I appreciate, because with the Juna’s small size, the vibrations travel through the whole toy. Gripping it with my palm is less itchy.) Ordinarily I like to hold pinpoint toys as close to the tip as possible for maximum control, but the Juna’s tip is short and rigid, so it’s easy to angle. I can’t reach the button in use, but I’d have to stop mid-wank anyway since it’s so difficult to click.

But I have a more pressing complaint about the Juna – pun intended.

The Lush as pictured from below.

The Lush Juna Vibrator was designed to hover, not be pressed down. If you cram the toy against your body, the motor stalls out. While the Juna doesn’t die completely, the tip seizes up until you back off again.

This is frustrating to me as someone who likes firm pressure on my clit, especially from toys that can’t give me the deep-reaching power I need to massage the internal parts of my clitoris. The Juna’s attachments are an alright distraction from that craving, but I’m still left feeling frustrated more often than not.

final thoughts

I have mixed feelings about the Juna. I love that it offers various tactile experiences, as well as being a budget-friendly introduction to pinpoint stimulation. I think the rosebud design is pretty and non-threatening, just like the packaging.

The Lush Juna pictured in its packaging, compared to the Lush Iris.

But while the Juna is overall decent, the limited vibration range, motor stalling under firm pressure, and needlessly difficult button are enough reason for me to not reach for this toy again unless I’m making comparisons in the future. I like adventures; I just prefer smooth sailing to meh seas.

If your interest in the Lush Juna is based on its Zumio-esque design, I’d actually recommend either just saving up for the Zumio S or giving the Noje Quiver a gander. I haven’t tried the Noje Quiver (yet?), but it looks promising. If it’s the textured attachments that caught your interest, then I think the Lush Juna is just fine! Better and wiser than misusing a makeup brush for sensation play.
