After writing about Big Daddy Danny, Dee’s Big Daddies offered me a few of their other models for review. My partner Buster’s first choice was the Big Daddy Duncan.

Duncan has a unique silhouette among realistic dildos: a ‘bent’ shaft. It was designed to curve to the left (or right, depending on your POV) because Dee’s loves how diversely shaped real cocks can be!

We were sent a Duncan Large and Duncan XXL.

The Duncan XXL is frankly gargantuan. At its widest point, this dildo is over 2.7 inches in diameter! For comparison, the Neo Elite 6 Inch is 1.4 inches in diameter, the width of the average penis. That makes Duncan XXL the girthiest dildo in my collection, beating the Uberrime Anurian by a tiny fraction.

If you’re not an experienced size queen, I’d suggest perusing the Wee Duncan. They don’t call themselves Dee’s Big Daddies for nothin’. Even the Large (pictured here in a dark skin tone) has a 2 inch diameter!

Big Daddy Duncan has a large flared base so it’s anal safe and can be worn in a strap-on harness. (More on that later.) The base is stamped with the Dee’s logo, which includes a cock-shaped cock. I need merch ASAP.

Besides its sideways curve, Duncan’s most notable feature is its distinctive mushroom head. It’s a wide, mostly flat helmet with a defined meatus (tip) and a broad, smooth coronal ridge. Despite the flare, Duncan’s head isn’t its girthest point; instead, Duncan is widest towards the top of the bent shaft. That’s a pretty neat choice!

Like Danny, Big Daddy Duncan has numerous realistic details on its shaft. Danny was uncut, but Duncan has a distinct circumcision scar beneath the head. Veins, skin wrinkles, and a prominent dorsal vein along the underside of the shaft add to Duncan’s realism.

I find myself wishing Duncan’s details were more pronounced (just like I did with Danny and Dante/Dominic.) Especially in the XXL, the details are almost “soft focus,” like a blurred snapshot. But if you prefer your toys without much texture, you’ll appreciate this gentler touch. (Dee’s describes the Duncan as having a “matted out finish” with “more drag than our other toys” but honestly I don’t notice a difference! Your sensitivity may vary.)

SheVibe carries Duncan in soft (shore 0050) silicone. That means it’s soft, almost meaty in its springy squeezability. Real silicone from a reputable maker is fully body-safe: it’s non-porous (which means you can sanitize it) and hypoallergenic. It doesn’t melt, stink like a shower curtain, or have an oily residue like a $20 dong from Amazon or Aliexpress.

our experience with duncan

My partner made the right choice asking for the Dee’s Big Daddies Duncan. The fat mushroom head? An absolute dee-light.

Duncan’s tip has very minimal tapering, which means if you’re not used to girthy toys (even our smaller Duncan, the Large, is a big daddy) it’s best to warm up with a slimmer toy or thorough fingering. All of Dee’s dildos have a sleek, glossy finish that glides in use, but lube is a must for silicone toys.

Unlike the DBD Danny and DBD Dominic before it, DBD Duncan’s unique shape really stands out in use. The bulbous helmet head thickly pops over Buster’s pubic bone. When I’m the one thrusting the toy, I can feel the feedback of that pop almost as strongly as Buster! But the silicone is soft enough (with enough give) that the hitch is pleasurable rather than punchy or jarring. The head’s broadly flared crown provides a persistent arc of pressure that we can stroke against Buster’s g-spot.

Most toys with prominent g-spotting heads (like the Uberrime Splendid or Neo Elite 7.5) follow up with a thinner shaft. But Dee’s dares to differentiate by making Duncan fatter! The toy’s max girth is actually an inch below the delicious crown. That means that even after Duncan’s head rubs over your wall, you’re still being stretched and massaged with meaty girth.

I love thick dildos that take the guess work out of targeted stimulation. I don’t need to be graceful and specific about how I angle Dee’s Big Daddies Duncan. The toy is so thick it rubs the entire urethral sponge.

Taking on the Duncan XXL is a lot like being fisted. The head’s flared crown is like someone’s knuckles, adding an extra umph of pressure against your internal walls as you’re stretched to capacity.

Dee’s Big Daddies Duncan’s bent/sideways curve is noticeable in use – but it’s not a nuisance. I was a little afraid it might cause the toy to veer to much to the side and drag uncomfortably. But Duncan is essentially textureless (Buster doesn’t feel any of its subdued veins or circumcision scar), and its soft silicone body partially yields to the user. The curve just adds to the stretch.

I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention another realistic dildo with a tilted shaft: the SquarePegToys Mel! Mel is made from even softer silicone than the Dee’s Big Daddies Duncan. That means in use, Mel’s sideways curve is less perceptible and its head isn’t as prominent or pushy as Duncan’s. If you’re looking for a less impactful design with a slant, Mel might be a contender!

Wielding any big dildo is gonna be a work out. Especially for your wrist and fingers. There are accessories than can help manage the labor, but ultimately it’s elbow grease – whether yours or a partner’s – that’ll carry you through.

Keep the exertion in mind when making your sizing choice. Because while the most important thing is how well the hole of your choice can handle it, your arm deserves some consideration too.

“I’m able to use the Duncan Large by myself just fine. The base is as thick as a hockey puck but not too big for me to grip. People with smaller hands or mobility issues might want to order it with a vac-u-lock hole and pair it with a handle,” says Buster’s testing notes.

“I like to use short thrusts on myself since my reach is more limited than [Betty’s]. That lets me focus on keeping the head shallow and rubbing on my g-spot. […] I must be ovulating because I’m not usually this into g-spot stimulation :3”

The Big Daddy Duncan XXL, on the other hand: “This thing is a fucking beast. Any toy at this size is unwieldy because of the weight and all the lube. Just like the Dante/Dominic, the Duncan XXL has extra inches when you use it vaginally. If you’re on your back the weight of the toy hanging out will drag it out of place sometimes. I like riding the XXL, but it can be a little tricky to squat down on because the bent shaft is more obvious.”

When considering the Big Daddy Duncan for strap-on sex, keep in mind there needs to be room for the large base. Especially on bigger models! Harnesses that are “backless” (that don’t have fabric or padding behind the o-ring) and vac-u-lock harnesses (if you order yours directly from Dee’s and have a vac-u-port added) are usually more accommodating. But these heavy dildos will probably try to drag your harness down, so ready your suspenders!

I don’t own a harness with a big enough o-ring for my Duncan XXL and it doesn’t have a port, so I haven’t been able to test it this way.

final thoughts on duncan

If realism fuels your fantasy, Dee’s Big Daddies Duncan’s unique silhouette sets it apart from a bajillion straight-shaft options. Its broad helmet head provides a thorough g-spot/prostate massage. Its girthy body – made of soft, muscley silicone – offers a satisfying stretch even in Large. There’s no texture to hold you back from thrusting… but its bulky base or sheer size might.

Duncan is by far our favorite Dee’s dildo. Danny Uncut was handsome but ultimately a little boring. The gracefully curved Dante and Dominic were better left to a-spot aficionados. Frankly, Duncan just has more to offer.
