Big Daddy Dante is the swan of realistic dildos. Its dramatically arched shaft and fanned-out balls create quite a silhouette.
Dante’s twin, the Big Daddy Dominic, swaps the balls out for a traditional flared base.
Some folks might arch an eyebrow at comparing silicone cocks to an elegant water bird. But there’s beauty in phallic shapes. Dee’s Big Daddies – a cheekily named indie dildo studio – understands this well. Their realistic designs are unique and often intentionally “flawed.” Dante’s balls are in fact asymmetrical!
Dante and Dominic have looks. But what else do these twin swans have to offer?

dante & dominic design and features
Like all of Dee’s Big Daddies dildos, Big Daddy Dante and Dominic are made in 5 sizes. SheVibe carries them in “Wee” (average/small), Large, and XL, each in 3 skin tones. For bigger sizes, as well as additional skin tones (and some non-realistic colors), you can order directly from Dee’s site.
My Dante is an XL, because we go big in this house. The Dante XL stands at 9.5 inches tall (10.5 if you straighten the curve.) The tapered head starts at an above average girth of 1.75 inches, but the shaft quickly widens to a beefy 2.1 inch diameter. Definitely not for beginners!
My Big Daddy Dominic is actually an XXL. This makes it an inch taller and fractionally thicker than the Dante XL.
These dildos are made from soft, body-safe silicone. Large toys can get pricey, but being made from silicone means this dildo will last a lifetime. It’s also non-porous and thus fully sanitizeable. You can swap it between holes or partners if you wash it with a 10% bleach solution first.
This dildo’s density (shore 0050, for you silicone nerds out there) is my favorite for bigger fare. It’s squeezable and easy to bend, but it’s musclier than gummy candy. Dante/Dominic’s deep curve might not hold as strong as a firm-cored dual density dildo, but it won’t go completely limp in use.
The Big Daddy Dante and Dominic are pretty dongs. All of Dee’s Big Daddies are. The textureless head has a bell-like curve and an attractively defined dip between crown and shaft. The shaft and Dante’s balls are smoothly textured with nondescript veins and skin detailing. Like the Big Daddy Danny, these details are a little ‘fuzzy’ – they’re not as visibly defined as a Neo Elite or similar brands.
I love the thick dorsal vein along the underside of the shaft, and the bigger veins on the shaft’s topside. You get the sense that Dante/Dominic is straining with arousal.
For some, Dante’s big balls are a major selling point. They’re proportionately larger than most realistic dildos’. In fact, if you typically ride your dildos, Dante’s hefty sack provides a sturdy foundation. But if you’re not specifically looking for testicles, I recommend getting the Big Daddy Dominic instead – but that’s a discussion for later.
our big daddy experience
As is always the case with insertable sex toys, my partner Buster stood in as ‘stunt cunt’ for this review.
As impressive as Big Daddy Dominic and Dante’s swanly sloped shaft is, I wasn’t sure how much impact the curve would have in use. Dildos made with softer silicone tend to lose their shape/definition when squeezed inside a body.
Just like I assumed, these Big Daddies are no match for something like the Uberrime Divo. The Divo has a firm core to support its cushiony silicone, so it retains a tight curve. The Dante/Dominic can’t give you the kind of pushy g-spot/prostate massage you can get from the Divo. (This goes doubly if you custom order yours in Dee’s even softer silicone.) But that doesn’t mean Dante/Dominic’s curve is a moot point.
The Dante/Dominic’s long slope comfortably arches along my partner’s pubic bone, swan diving deep until the snubbed head lands in the general area of their a-spot (the nerve-rich wall in front of the cervix.) Buster can feel the head and crown’s gentle petting against their wall with every thrust. The rest of the toy’s details – the veins and skin texturing – are sadly too soft to discern.
The muscley silicone yields to their body, yes. But that makes the XL’s girth a comfortable stretch instead of a forceful one.
The problem for us is keeping it in place. When fucking my partner with the Big Daddy Dominic, I have to use short, slow thrusts with the toy mostly inserted to avoid the shaft trying to fold/tilt. This is because the angled head (ideal for a-spot stimulation) curls up and can ‘catch’. I use an almost scooping motion to follow the toy’s curve rather than fight it with straight thrusts. When Buster rides the Big Daddy Dante, they’re careful not to sit straight down for the same reason.
Something else to keep in mind if you’re using these toys vaginally is that in larger sizes, there may be “extra” inches. Vaginas are generally 6 to 8 inches deep. “Extra” can be useful for grasping the toy or for reach during strap-on sex. But it can also be a pain if you want to hold the toy by the base and can’t reach, or if the weight of those inches hanging outside pulls the toy out.
If you’re after deep penetration and a gentler a-spot rub down than the Le Wand Arch or Uberrime Astra, you’ll appreciate Dante/Dominic. If you like fast and/or shallow thrusts, firmly targeted g-spot/prostate stimulation, or ridges and texture – these swans are best left ogled from afar.
dante vs dominic: balls or no balls?
What’s the point of balls on a dildo? Well, some folks like ‘em! They’re aesthetically pleasing, they can provide extra stimulation (by bumping against you as you thrust), and in some cases they’re more useful than a traditional flared base. Big Daddy Dante’s balls are wide and flat on the bottom, providing a somewhat stable base for riding. There’s also more room to position a wand or a grinder with a tacky underside.
My partner Buster enjoys using the Dante XL as a riding dildo. They can reach under themself and pin the heavy balls against the bed as they bounce. The “extra” inch to the Dante XL’s shaft means they don’t have to sit flat to be full, but that also means they can’t sit if they want to.
Some realistic dildos have ball sacks that are shaped/proportioned so you can rub your clit on them. This rarely works for Buster because their clitoris/cock is recessed. Big Daddy Dante XL was no exception, especially with the extra shaft length. They do, however, thump Buster’s taint when I’m thrusting the toy myself.
That being said, unless you’re planning to primarily ride this dildo, I don’t recommend the Dante with Balls. Its twin, Dominic, can provide the same long curve experience – without the downsides of balls.
I’ve always had wrist pain, but it’s much worse these days. It’s difficult to handle a heavy dildo for an hour. Give that dildo cumbersome balls and the difficulty is doubled. There’s no comfortable way to hold them, and the added weight creates more strain. And that’s when I’m doing the hard work on my partner’s behalf.
“During masturbation it’s almost impossible to actually get Dante into myself if I’m laying down. I needed your help because I’ve got little arms and this is a big dick,” Buster pointed out in their testing notes. “The balls are so heavy on the XL I can’t really thrust it when I’m holding the lower part of the shaft. I like the balls for riding or as an anchor to hold between my thighs when laying down because I can wiggle on it, but that’s it.”
final thoughts on these big daddies
Swans are generally monogamous. (I say “generally” lest we forget Henry, the polyamorous bisexual swan from New Zealand.) But I could not possibly be monogamous with Big Daddy Dante or Dominic. Though elegantly shaped, these twins – especially Dante – are too high maintenance to be the one and only in my inelegant sex life.
If you’re after deep penetration and a gentler a-spot rub down than the Le Wand Arch or Uberrime Astra, you’ll appreciate the Big Daddy Dante or Big Daddy Dominic. Just be mindful of Dante/Dominic’s tendency to buckle under pressure. If you like fast and/or shallow thrusts, firmly targeted g-spot/prostate stimulation, or ridges and texture – these swans are best left ogled from afar.
If you’re not fully committed to taking flight with a fat pair of balls, I highly recommend picking Dominic over Dante. Your wrists (and likely limited space storage bin you stash your fuckables in) will thank me.
If you’re shopping on SheVibe, find the Big Daddy Dominic in Wee, Large, and XL, and the Big Daddy Dante in Wee, Large, and XL. Find both dildos in larger sizes on the Dee’s Big Daddies website.
Thank you, Dee’s Big Daddies, for sending me the Dee’s Big Daddies Dominic and Dee’s Big Daddies Dante in exchange for an honest review.
