Review: Noje Pleasure Wand Attachments by Blush Novelties

I say this a lot, but it really does need to be said again before I get into this review: until a few months ago, I used nothing but standard plastic bullets – textureless, unyielding, and buzzy – on my junk. When I finally let go of the “safe” option of same ol’ same ol’, I discovered the Noje Mini Wand, and the Noje turned my experience of pleasure from a distressing gamble of maybe having an orgasm to consistently coming on my own terms. Everything that’s not a vibrating hotdog-shaped plastic stick is freaking revolutionary to me (and some, like the Gaia, still are.) And there’s nothing wrong with that!

And the Noje Please Wand Attachments? Amazing. But I think it would be wrong to chalk that entirely up to my inexperienced junk.

Two silicone wand attachments sitting in a pile of plastic Easter grass with a chocolate bunny and a pink background behind them. (Descriptions of the attachments will be provided below.) The bunny looks mildly creepy.

A few weeks back, I put an order in at Peepshow Toys that included the Noje. As I went to check out, an in-browser popup suggested I also buy the set of attachments for the mini wand. My budget was really strict, so I had to decline and was super bummed about it. When Blush Novelties hit me up on Twitter and asked if they could send me some, I was over the moon… but also nervous. What if I didn’t like them? What if rumbly vibrations and the rounded head of the mini wand was as adventurous as my junk could tolerate, and adding funky attachments would be going too far?

Two wands sitting in the plastic grass: the Noje (with a curved, sage plastic handle), and the Vibra (fat-handled and purple.)

The pack comes with two heads, offering three stimulating alternatives to a regular dome. There’s the “Flicker,” which has a thin wing of silicone which flaps with vibration as well as a solid ball for even more pinpont pressure; and then there’s the “Hugger,” which has a pronged top that resembles a pair of dwarf rabbit ears. Both are made of silicone with a super soft finish, and can be fitted on all three models of the Noje. (Technically they also fit the Aria Vibra, they’re just a tad short.)

To get them onto the wand, you wriggle the wand’s regular silicone cap off and slip the accessory cap in place; there are there subtle ridges towards the base of the caps that help them hug the wand snugly. You might need use of a fingernail to push it up the first little bit, but that may just be me having trouble with simple tasks again. Oh, Bets.

My favorite is the Hugger. I love holding the wand in place and rutting my hips; working my clit between its firm but pliable ears kinda feels like I’m getting jerked off. Because the ears themselves are pretty unmalleable, they carry the wand’s vibrations really well, and their short length means they don’t poke or get in the way of themselves against my body as long as I keep my labia (which is thick) out of the way with my other hand. It’s pretty easy to fit them on either side of Buster’s more prominent clit too, and they’re just bendable enough to pinch closer together with my fingers if I want to get mean. (I always want to get mean.)

The Hugger attachment fixed on a Noje Wand.

(A weird, interesting side note: the orgasms I have with the Hugger are the closest I’ve ever come to feeling that trickily throb like I’m going to squirt. I think it’s because I move it around so much and stimulate more of my clitoral complex through grinding and humping. Maybe one day I’ll manage to chase that feeling through to completion!)

The Flicker scared me a bit, because I couldn’t conceive of a rapidly fluttering flap feeling anything but painful on my clit. And it can be, since my clit is so sensitive; I definitely prefer to wait until I’m already very aroused to start using it. But mostly it feels… buzzy in a good way, a constant brush of sensation and cool air. It flickers so fast it’s a visual blur; it doesn’t noisily or clumsily slap around like I assumed it would. I also like to hold it still against my clit and enjoy the soft wing of silicone’s vibrations, which feel stingy in comparison to the wand’s typical rumbles.

The Flicker also has a solid nub if you prefer pinpoint vibrations over the wider-distributed (but admittedly still targeted, due to its size) vibrations of the Noje’s head. When I want to direct rumbles to my clit and only my clit, this part of the attachment is my go-to, and I love it. Because it’s as firm as the Hugger’s ears, the ball carries the Noje’s vibrations very well. And if I tilt it just right, I can press it against the base of my clit and let the Flicker’s wing stimulate above the urethra. It feels strangely fantastic.

I love the Noje Wand. I love these attachments. I love that you can buy both together for less than the average price of the market’s other rumbly, waterproof, rechargeable vibrators and yet also be getting the opportunity to explore multiple stimulation styles. I love how approachable that makes the Noje line for toy newbies and budget-restricted shoppers (two teams I am very much a part of.) I don’t love how freakin’ creepy the chocolate bunny ended up looking in all of these pictures.

You can snag these attachments from Peepshow Toys ($8) and SheVibe ($8). I received the Noje Pleasure Wand Attachments from Blush Novelties with no strings attached but of course I was gonna review ‘em. Affiliate links were used in this post.
