Like that toy, the Enigma Wave\u2019s insertable arm\/vibrator is firm but <em>very<\/em> flexible.<\/p>\n<p>Vulvas are as unique as faces; the distance between the clitoris and vaginal opening varies from person to person. The Enigma Wave\u2019s arm flexibility is crucial because otherwise it wouldn\u2019t work with different proportions. That\u2019s why <a href=\"https:\/\/shareasale.com\/r.cfm?b=1624116&amp;u=3636866&amp;m=101452&amp;urllink=shevibe%2Ecom%2Ftraditional%2Darm%2F&amp;afftrack=\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">traditional rigid-armed rabbits<\/a> are so hard to shop for!<\/p>\n<p>The insertable vibrator\/arm is 1.5 inches in diameter. That\u2019s about 3 fingers, or average sized for a dildo or penis. In fact, something the <a href=\"https:\/\/shareasale.com\/r.cfm?b=1624116&amp;u=3636866&amp;m=101452&amp;urllink=shevibe%2Ecom%2Flelo%2Dsona%2D2%2Dwaterproof%2Drechargeable%2Dpleasure%2Dair%2Dclitoral%2Dstimulator%2Dblack%2F&amp;afftrack=\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Lelo Sona 2<\/a> and its evolutions get criticized for is how users with larger clits don\u2019t fit. (The original Lelo Sona was, uh, <a href=\"https:\/\/dangerouslilly.com\/2018\/04\/lelo-sona-cruise-review\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">worse<\/a>.) Lelo has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.peepshowtoys.com\/products\/lelo-sila-sonic-clitoral-pulsation-vibrator?rfsn=7172466.b58f09\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">the wide-mouthed Sila<\/a>, but Sila doesn\u2019t have a suped up sequel with an insertable vibe.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"When You Risk Your Genitals for the One You Love: An Interview With Buster LeBeau\" href=\"https:\/\/bettybutch.com\/index.php\/2021\/02\/01\/when-you-risk-your-genitals-for-the-one-you-love-an-interview-with-buster-lebeau\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">My partner<\/a> has a smaller clitoris, but it\u2019s \u201cburied\u201d beneath a thick clitoral hood as well as their outer labia. The nozzle is long and rigid enough to tuck between their labia without Buster having to spread themself open. But they still have to be aroused enough to pull their clitoral hood back so their clitoris fits into the narrow nozzle.<\/p>\n<p>But even if you can\u2019t get a perfect fit with the nozzle, the \u201cSenSonic waves\u201d will pummel whatever skin they can reach. A partial fit is annoying but can still be toe-curling.<\/p>\n<h4><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"lelo_controls_and_charging\"><\/span><strong><em>lelo controls and charging<\/em><\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>You get just 3 buttons to control this <a href=\"http:\/\/lip.go2cloud.org\/aff_c?offer_id=2&amp;aff_id=5483&amp;url_id=1889\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">multi stimulation toy<\/a>. The buttons are soft and subtly indented (and honestly, pretty hard to use by touch alone.) The vulva-esque middle button controls your 8 setting options. The Lelo Enigma Wave is a triple stimulator: sonic pulsation, vibration, and \u201cWaveMotion\u201d rotations. If you want to control these features separately (like having gentler clit stimulation but stronger internal vibrations), well, that\u2019s too bad! Everything happens all at once.<\/p>\n<p>There are settings where the insertable arm <em>only<\/em> vibrates if you don\u2019t want the wiggles, or where it vibrates in a pattern. The plastic framing is reflective and a blue-purple fade instead of the usual faux gold. (The seam around the plastic is wide enough to fit a fingernail, so make sure you occasionally use a soft bottle brush to ensure it\u2019s clean.) But the Enigma Wave\u2019s overall shape is kinda goofy. The toy\u2019s head\/handle reminds me of Giger\u2019s Alien (although we know <a title=\"Review: The Aliter Bent Knot Alien Monster Dildo by Uberrime\" href=\"https:\/\/bettybutch.com\/index.php\/2023\/08\/30\/review-the-aliter-bent-knot-alien-monster-dildo-by-uberrime\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">I have no problem with that<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>Sad to say that the Lelo Enigma Wave has the exact same <a title=\"Review: Soraya Vibrating Anal Beads Massager by Lelo\" href=\"https:\/\/bettybutch.com\/index.php\/2023\/11\/13\/review-soraya-vibrating-anal-beads-massager-by-lelo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ill-fitting charge cord situation<\/a> as the Lelo Soraya Beads. But the tech is similar to Womanizer or <a href=\"https:\/\/shareasale.com\/r.cfm?b=1624116&amp;u=3636866&amp;m=101452&amp;urllink=shevibe%2Ecom%2Fpressure%2Dwave%2Dstimulators%2F%3F%5Fbc%5Ffsnf%3D1%26brand%3D197&amp;afftrack=\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Satisfyer<\/a>, who use fluttering mechanisms inside the nozzle to pulsate air around the clitoris.<\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019ve never experienced one of these toys before, it\u2019s a difficult sensation to describe. To me, it feels a lot like rapid, fluttery tapping that somehow resonates <em>inside<\/em> of my clitoris. Some folks say it feels like suction (hence these toys sometimes being called \u201cclitoral suction\u201d or \u201cair suction.\u201d) The Lelo Enigma Wave feels closer to suction than the Satisfyers I own.<\/p>\n<p>In fact, the Enigma Wave\u2019s pulsations feel smoother and massage <em>deeper<\/em> than Satisfyer. Which is good, because the stiff, narrow nozzle and the plastic seam can be difficult to clean.<\/p>\n<p>I soap and rinse the whole toy thoroughly between uses, but every so often I dip a <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3Rqfmxo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">cotton stick<\/a> in <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/48hJDoZ\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">70% isopropyl alcohol<\/a> and gently swipe inside. Make sure not to leave cotton fibers or press too hard on the thin membrane inside. Rinse thoroughly!
