The very first steady speed (of 8 total) is deep and shuddery, and it only gets stronger from there. A few of the speeds feel repetitive to me, like there\u2019s not a perceptible increase in power \u2013 but there\u2019s still several big jumps. At its maximum, the Tango X is a match (albeit with a much narrower reach) for the <a href=\"https:\/\/bettybutch.com\/index.php\/2020\/01\/08\/review-the-rechargeable-waterproof-wand-by-we-vibe\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">We-Vibe Wand<\/a>\u2019s mid-range speeds. That\u2019s a lot of punch for something only a little larger than my finger.<\/p>\n<p>Patterns are segregated to an ultra-subtle, squiggle-shaped button between the increase and decrease buttons. That\u2019s not exactly accessibility-minded, but it\u2019s a win for those of us who want nothing to do with patterns.<\/p>\n<p>The up\/down buttons are soft, small, but easy to press. The matte silicone grip makes handling the bullet relatively slip-free, although it doesn\u2019t much muffle the vibrations to your fingers. A femme friend of mine said the handle keeps their short acrylic nails from slipping\/clattering on the plastic, so there\u2019s that!<\/p>\n<p>Speaking of plastic, the Tango is slick but<em> firm<\/em>. If you prefer a little give or a soft\/textured surface (like the flexible <a href=\"https:\/\/bettybutch.com\/index.php\/2019\/03\/29\/review-ultra-bullet-rechargeable-20-function-mini-vibrator-by-femmefunn\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Ultra Bullet<\/a>), the Tango can\u2019t give it to you.
