The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.peepshowtoys.com\/products\/snail-vibe-rolling-thrusting-vibrator-for-clitoral-and-g-spot-stimulation?rfsn=7172466.b58f09\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">Snail Vibe<\/a> (which Peepshow carries in purple) is coated with silicone, which is hypoallergenic and non-porous.<\/p>\n<p>There are two incredibly powerful motors in the Snail Vibe: one in the ball for your clit, and one in tip of the shaft. But\u2026 where is the shaft?<\/p>\n<p>Like most of the internet, I initially assumed one ball was for clitoral stimulation and the other ball went inside you. But I was looking at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.peepshowtoys.com\/products\/snail-vibe-rolling-thrusting-vibrator-for-clitoral-and-g-spot-stimulation?rfsn=7172466.b58f09\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">Snail Vibe<\/a> backwards. Yes, one ball hugs your clit \u2013 but the second ball is a <em>handle<\/em>. The insertable part is the other side of the toy. My partner Buster likes straight dildos, so (at least conceptually) they don\u2019t mind the ramrod-y shaft. But a lot of people with vaginas prefer some curvature or a bulbous head for g-spot or a-spot stimulation. If you have a sensitive pubic bone or cervix and shudder at the idea of ultra-firm dildos (like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.peepshowtoys.com\/collections\/glass-wood-metal-dildos?rfsn=7172466.b58f09\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">stainless steel or glass<\/a>), the Snail Vibe is not for you. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.peepshowtoys.com\/products\/we-vibe-nova-2-ultra-flexible-rabbit-vibrator?rfsn=7172466.b58f09\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">We-Vibe Nova<\/a>, while not as powerful, <a href=\"https:\/\/bettybutch.com\/index.php\/2021\/03\/02\/review-nova-2-rechargeable-dual-stimulation-rabbit-vibrator-by-we-vibe\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">is also thrustable<\/a> and has a squishy dual layer to its shaft.<\/p>\n<p>Another potential drawback to this rechargeable, waterproof vibrator is its pricetag: $150 (or $135 with code BETTY.) That\u2019s even more expensive than the powerhouse wands I was gushing about earlier. Even after my friend Felicity (deservedly) <a href=\"https:\/\/phallophilereviews.com\/snail-vibe-review\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">eviscerated it in her thorough review<\/a>. Snail Vibe\u2019s design makes my favorite ways to fuck my partner more accessible to me. The firm ball handle feels like it was designed for my clumsy hand: it fits in my palm, it\u2019s easy to grip, and it makes thrusting a breeze. The buttons have raised markings so they\u2019re identifiable by touch. No matter how I angle or thrust the toy, the Snail Vibe\u2019s clitoris-stimulating ball never loses contact with my partner\u2019s body.<\/p>\n<p>I feel like the clitoris-stimulating ball is a perfect fit for a fat body, or at least a plush pubic mound. It provides enough pressure to stay put, but it doesn\u2019t pinch or bruise. The vibrations are thumpy and deep and work through the entirety of Buster\u2019s chubby vulva.<\/p>\n<p>Because, yes, the vibrations are fucking exquisite. Oh my god. The motors (which you can control separately) create some of the most powerful, deeply-massaging rumbles I\u2019ve ever felt in a sex toy. I can, for example, jack up the shaft motor and turn down the clit motor to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.peepshowtoys.com\/blogs\/news\/what-the-kink-edging-and-orgasm-control?rfsn=7172466.b58f09\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">edge my partner<\/a>. If you\u2019re very particular about internal vs external vibration, the Snail Vibe gives you lots of range.<\/p>\n<p>The Snail Vibe also wowed me by being a little quieter than the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.peepshowtoys.com\/products\/magic-wand-rechargeable-cordless-vibrator?rfsn=7172466.b58f09\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">Magic Wand<\/a>. The shaft motor is just as loud, but it\u2019s muffled in-use because it\u2019s inside you.<\/p>\n<h4><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"our_their_experience_the_bad\"><\/span><em>our (their) experience: the bad<\/em><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>Unfortunately, my partner\u2019s experiences involve more than the fantastic vibration. They also have to endure the uncomfortable, joyless stabbing of the Snail Vibe\u2019s shaft. While Buster doesn\u2019t mind firm vibrators in general (like the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.peepshowtoys.com\/products\/blush-wellness-g-curve-waterproof-rechargeable-vibrator?rfsn=7172466.b58f09\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">Blush G-Curve<\/a>), the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.peepshowtoys.com\/products\/snail-vibe-rolling-thrusting-vibrator-for-clitoral-and-g-spot-stimulation?rfsn=7172466.b58f09\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">Snail Vibe Dual Stimulator<\/a> doesn\u2019t feel like it was designed for vaginal insertion. The motor delivers deep, shuddering vibrations, and the shaft can be angled downward (towards, but not reaching, the posterior fornix) for less jarring thrusts. With what\u2019s essentially a wand pinned against one\u2019s clit, it\u2019s hard to complain about a dull fucking.<\/p>\n<p>But the Snail Vibe has another flaw: the split shaft design. It unfurls and fits together easily. But when it\u2019s inside my partner, air gets pulled between the halves with every thrust. Almost like a fireplace bellow, I guess. It creates an uncomfortable suction sensation and drags all the lube into the recess between halves.<\/p>\n<p>(<a href=\"https:\/\/www.peepshowtoys.com\/products\/snail-vibe-rolling-thrusting-vibrator-for-clitoral-and-g-spot-stimulation?rfsn=7172466.b58f09\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">Snail Vibe<\/a>\u2019s firmness and matte finish necessitates a <em>lot<\/em> of lube. So it doubly sucks that it disappears.)<\/p>\n<p>I think this happens in part because Buster has a prominent pubic bone. Suction-y sensations have occurred with firm toys before. But it\u2019s never been this intensely unpleasant. I haven\u2019t seen many others discuss this drawback in reviews, so it likely depends on your body.
