The latest episode of the Crash Pad Series<\/a> is out, and it stars an entitled little shit (played by Devon Wipp) and an initially bemused but devilishly opportunistic art nerd (played by Vivi Marie.) Vivi asks Devon to come by to hang out and look at a new art piece she bought; Devon assumes it\u2019s a bootycall, and becomes indignant when they\u2019re resolutely rebuffed. What follows is a sexy exchange of thigh smacks, lipstick kisses, and vigorous fingering as Vivi teaches Devon a lesson… or gives Devon exactly what they wanted, depending on your perspective.<\/p>\n

I was hesitant to review this episode because I\u2019m a survivor\/victim and certain kinds of non-consent play can trigger me. However, the allure of a scene centered on a femme bully was too strong to pass up, especially since the Crash Pad Series provides blanket warnings on their non-con play episodes so watchers like me can decide if they’re comfortable with the content. And by \u201cblanket,\u201d I mean it\u2019s a sweeping content warning \u2013 if viewers want specific content\/trigger warnings, it\u2019s suggested in the FAQ that you reach out to CPS. Some content is<\/em> listed (this episode has markers for strap-on play and rough sex) but I do wish it was more in-depth.<\/p>\n

But I really needn\u2019t have worried. Devon was transparently enthusiastic about the scene and while some non-con play worked its way into Devon and Vivi\u2019s dirty talk, both performers were eager and communicative with each other; and it was playful<\/em>. They checked on each other constantly, weaving questions and warnings into their erotic back and forth with ease \u2013 though they still maintained the \u201cbullying\u201d dynamic of the scene, thanks in big part to how natural all of Vivi\u2019s taunting and laughter sounded.<\/p>\n

What was less natural was the placement of the Keymaster. As I understand it, the Keymaster character is an unknown voyeur who owns the apartment the folks are fucking in, and we\u2019re reminded of their presence now and then, because meta! Their first appearance in this episode was abrupt and interrupted the flow of the scene rather than enhancing it. Their appearance would have been less jarring if it had happened during the first conversation (in which Devon condescendingly natters on at Vivi) and could have helped pace it out. Compare the first random cut to the Keymaster to a later cut when Vivi asks if Devon would like to fuck her, and Devon breathlessly begs, \u201cI want to fuck you really badly\u201d over a shot of the Keymaster. It was an effective reminder that the Keymaster is a voyeur to so many intimate moments including this one, and it enhanced the desperation and eroticism in Devon\u2019s voice because the actual viewers couldn\u2019t see Devon answering.<\/p>\n

The awkward juxtaposition of the Keymaster wasn\u2019t the only hitch in this episode. There were a few awkward moments, like when Devon lost their train of thought after yelping \u2018what the fuck\u2019 or Vivi saying \u2018wait, what?\u2019 so many times during the first conversation (in precisely the same tone each time) that I thought the video had glitched. I feel like both scenes could have been trimmed to smooth the flow of things, just as the time spent donning a strap-on or situating dental dams was cut. There were also a number of sound burps, from background thumps to performers shuffling too close to the mic, that my picky autistic ears found unpleasantly loud. Paired with few shots in which the performers were mostly off-screen except for Vivi\u2019s back and shoulders, or their voices were too soft for me to discern what was being said, and watching this episode was occasionally disorienting.<\/p>\n

But those moments were brief and are honestly my only complaints. Otherwise the episode was playful, charming, and sexy, right down to Devon\u2019s expert little lip pop after Vivi applied their lipstick. (The entire lipstick bit was hot as hell, Devon sulking and sighing the whole way through.)<\/p>\n

And, oh wow<\/em>, Devon. I have such a crush. They were eager and at times unabashedly needy, lips parted and body moving into whatever stimulation Vivi was inflicting. They arched their chest and hips with abandon; they lifted their head to follow Vivi in hopes of scoring a kiss or the opportunity to pleasure her back; they groaned and gasped and whined as Vivi worked them over. At one point, Vivi snaps the lipstick shut and Devon\u2019s flinch is the most gorgeous expression I\u2019ve ever seen in porn; the kind of wince that can bring out the dom in any viewer. I especially enjoyed Devon\u2019s quiet, panted answers to any question Vivi asked of them \u2013 they always seemed breathless and yet ready to keep getting deeper into the scene.<\/p>\n

And damn did Devon sell the premise of this scene. Their condescending yammering in the first few minutes of the episode, first just by being a smarmy ass and then being a misogynist jerk, was believable enough that I had to stop to laugh because we all<\/em> know (perceived<\/em>) masc folks like that, don\u2019t we? It made it all the more delicious when Devon\u2019s sullenness during sex evaporated into adamant submission.<\/p>\n

And who wouldn\u2019t want to submit to Vivi, regardless of your opinion on her hipstery owl picture? I wanted to watch this episode to see a femme bully and I got one. Vivi\u2019s dominance was gleeful and mocking, and she moved with confidence when she was rocking Devon\u2019s world and<\/em> when riding their strap-on. She got her way, and she pulled hair, smacked ass, and smeared lipstick to do it. I loved how she almost babytalked her questions at times, turning even asking Devon where the gloves for safe sex (\u201cdo you want me to put on gloves? Do you know where they are?\u201d) into a chance to be condescending as revenge for their earlier behavior (\u201cyou mean you don\u2019t have any in your back pocket just waiting for a moment like this?\u201d) Her eyes seemed to sparkle with mischief the entire time, and it was infectious to watch.<\/p>\n

Their dynamic together was incredibly sexy and lended itself well to both the roleplaying and the more grounded aspects of the sex. I was completely enthralled by how Vivi teased Devon verbally and made Devon melt into an eager bottom… but I was also endeared by the silly little real life things like a wet pop noise from Devon\u2019s mouth on Vivi\u2019s breast or the dildo not tilting in the right direction when Vivi wanted to straddle it. Their performances<\/em> were great but so were they<\/em>, and the fun mix of performative tension and actual chemistry between them made it fun and<\/em> hot. At one point, Devon is loudly enjoying being fingered and smiles \u2013 they have a gorgeous<\/em> smile \u2013 and it makes Vivi smile breathlessly right back, and I fucking loved it.<\/p>\n

A few favorite moments in particular include Vivi singsonging something along the lines of \u201cthat won\u2019t work with me\u201d while shaking her head at Devon, her voice delightedly mean; Vivi hauling Devon\u2019s head back by their hair; all the eager, enthusiastic noises both performers made when going down on each other; the delightful awkwardness of the safe sex gloves taking extra wriggling to actually fit; Vivi outragedly telling Devon \u201cyou just fucked it up\u201d when Devon smeared lipstick in the wrong place on Vivi\u2019s skin; Vivi asking \u201cready?\u201d to warn Devon they were going to get slapped and Devon eagerly whispering \u201cyes.\u201d And the kissing<\/em>! I don\u2019t see enough good kissing<\/em>, and these two? Wow.<\/p>\n

Honestly, I\u2019ve never seen consensual non-consent done in such a playful, lighthearted way; if anything, it felt like a vague trope applied only to spice up the dirty talk. It\u2019s changed my perception of what that kind of roleplay can be, especially in regards to how the performers incorporated consent, safe sex, and each other\u2019s pleasure into the scene.<\/p>\n
