A scalloped design on the front controls the toy\u2019s fluttering tip, and a ringed circle on the back controls the vibrations in the other end. There are 4 speeds to the fluttering, and 4 vibration patterns (2 steady speeds, 2 pattern settings.) The <a href=\"https:\/\/shareasale.com\/r.cfm?b=1368996&amp;u=3636866&amp;m=89363&amp;urllink=www%2Ezalousa%2Ecom%2Fproducts%2Fhero&amp;afftrack=\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Zalo Hero<\/a> is rechargeable, and can be charged with a magnetic USB cord. It takes less than an hour, and lasts up to 3 (but usually about 1.5 for me.)<\/p>\n<p>The Zalo Hero\u2019s \u201ctongue\u201d is a solid but flexible flap of silicone with a hinged base. Despite its enticing shape, you only use the pebbled tip for stimulation. Trying to use the rest of the flap just kills its momentum. Stronger because it\u2019s so <em>physical<\/em>, but gentler because the stimulation is shallow and buzz-like. I can only come from the Hero alone if I haven\u2019t orgasmed in a week or so. But since it\u2019s an apples to oranges comparison, your mileage may vary.<\/p>\n<p>Does it feel like \u201cmemorable oral sex\u201d? Ehhhh. When <a href=\"https:\/\/bettybutch.com\/index.php\/2019\/03\/11\/review-confidence-preheating-silicone-wand-style-massager-by-zalo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">reviewing the Confidence Wand<\/a> I wrote, \u201cWhile it\u2019s not as strong as I was hoping, its vibrations are definitely on the rumbly side of the buzz\/rumble spectrum.\u201d They\u2019re on the low end of medium strength: pleasant, but sometimes not enough for me to finish.<\/p>\n<p>The buttons \u2013 although textured \u2013 are small and can be difficult to find and properly click. Yes, indented silicone buttons are easier to clean than traditional buttons. But easy cleanup clearly wasn\u2019t a priority for the <a href=\"https:\/\/shareasale.com\/r.cfm?b=1368996&amp;u=3636866&amp;m=89363&amp;urllink=www%2Ezalousa%2Ecom%2Fproducts%2Fhero&amp;afftrack=\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Zalo Hero Clitoral Massager<\/a>. The seams along the plastic accent are serious gunk collectors, and the Hero isn\u2019t waterproof: it\u2019s splashproof.<\/p>\n<p>Zalo says the Hero can be held under running water (like the shower) but not submerged. I haven\u2019t had any issues with it even when prying at the seams while rinsing\u2026 but I don\u2019t like saying \u201cso far, so good\u201d about a $100 toy. The Hero also requires a pat down after rinsing, because lingering water leaves (temporary) marks. It also picks up fingerprint smudging, argh!<\/p>\n<h4><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"final_thoughts_on_the_zalo_hero\"><\/span><em><strong>final thoughts on the zalo hero<\/strong><\/em><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>I\u2019ve spent a lot of time contemplating what kinda of value the <a href=\"https:\/\/shareasale.com\/r.cfm?b=1368996&amp;u=3636866&amp;m=89363&amp;urllink=www%2Ezalousa%2Ecom%2Fproducts%2Fhero&amp;afftrack=\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Zalo Hero<\/a> brings to one\u2019s toy box. The Hero offers a fairly new sensation with its pulsewave tip. Its vibrations \u2013 while sadly somewhat limited in range \u2013 feel <em>good<\/em>. It\u2019s rechargeable, splashproof, and made of body-safe materials. It\u2019s also <em>gorgeous<\/em>, even though it\u2019s fussy to keep clean\/unsmudged. The Hero is unique, but is it worth adding to your collection \u2013 or potentially being your first toy?<\/p>\n<p>There aren\u2019t many toys you can compare the Hero to.
