It\u2019s about 9 inches tall, and has \u2013 at the widest portion of its tilted shaft \u2013 a diameter of 2.23 inches. That\u2019s 3 to 4 inches longer and almost an inch thicker than the average penis. This is not a dildo for inexperienced receivers. For most folks, this is a toy you work up to.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div data-contents=\"true\">\n<p>I asked to review Mel because of its pronounced curve to the left. Lots of real penises have slants, but you don\u2019t really see that replicated by <a href=\"https:\/\/shevibe.com\/realistic-dildos\/?search_query=&amp;page=1&amp;limit=20&amp;sort=featured&amp;Body Safe=Phthalate-free - Non-porous&amp;category=53&amp;is_category_page=1?rfsn=4817663.6e587d\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">realistic toys<\/a>. Dildos with curves usually angle upwards for better g\/p-spot stimulation; there\u2019s no functional purpose for a sideways tilt. So while I understand the lack of leanin\u2019 peens, the novelty of Mel seduced me.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.peepshowtoys.com\/products\/squarepegtoys-mel-harness-supersoft-bronze-silicone-dildo-with-suction-cup?rfsn=7172466.b58f09\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">SquarePegToys\u2019 Mel<\/a> has a very cute head, with an unsymmetrical corona and a deep urethral divot. The corded vein running along the underside of the shaft is as thick and bulging as a muscle, creating an additional ridge of stimulation.<\/p>\n<p>Although the molding process perfectly replicated Mel\u2019s tilt, other details of the shaft had to be altered to make a more serviceable toy. There are smooth patches at the base and behind the glans, and some of the intensely ropey vein texturing was sanded down so it wasn\u2019t so jarring. The resulting surface\u2026 isn\u2019t the most <em>aesthetically<\/em> pleasing, at least on top. (The underside is actually quite nice.) The appearance of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.peepshowtoys.com\/products\/squarepegtoys-leo-harness-supersoft-bronze-silicone-dildo-with-suction-cup?rfsn=7172466.b58f09\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Leo<\/a>\u2019s skin and vein texturing definitely translated into silicone better than Mel\u2019s.<\/p>\n<p>Mel\u2019s base is really neat (albeit a little roughly trimmed.) To create a strong suction cup, a second concave circle was added to the bottom. If you give the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.peepshowtoys.com\/products\/squarepegtoys-mel-harness-supersoft-bronze-silicone-dildo-with-suction-cup?rfsn=7172466.b58f09\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">Mel SuperSoft Dildo<\/a> a firm push against a flat surface, it\u2019ll grip tight for a <em>long<\/em> time. And the suction holds up against a lot of tilting and tugging. When washing with a toy cleaner or face-safe soap like dish liquid, press down with your fingertips (not nails) as you go. The veins and other texturing will yield to your touch and you\u2019ll be able to lather and rinse the indents.<\/p>\n<h4><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"our_experience_with_the_squarepegtoys_mel_dildo\"><\/span><em>our experience with the squarepegtoys mel dildo<\/em><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>While my toy interests have changed with time, my partner Buster\u2019s have perhaps narrowed. Dozens of dildos into our explorations, Buster\u2019s asks are twofold: big, and squishy. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.peepshowtoys.com\/products\/squarepegtoys-mel-harness-supersoft-bronze-silicone-dildo-with-suction-cup?rfsn=7172466.b58f09\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">Mel<\/a> is both.<\/p>\n<p>With Mel\u2019s size and girth, Buster either needs to warm up with a smaller toy first (hey there <a href=\"https:\/\/shevibe.com\/neo-elite-7-inch-dual-density-realistic-silicone-dildo-with-balls-by-blush-neon-blue\/?rfsn=4817663.6e587d\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Neo Elite<\/a>) or be <em>really<\/em> turned on (hi <a href=\"https:\/\/shevibe.com\/magic-wand-rechargeable-cordless-vibrator\/?rfsn=4817663.6e587d\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Magic Wand<\/a>.) Mel\u2019s head doesn\u2019t have much taper from the shaft (like the <a href=\"https:\/\/shevibe.com\/aqua-king-silicone-fantasy-dildo-by-uberrime\/?rfsn=4817663.6e587d\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Aqua King<\/a> does), so you\u2019re essentially taking its full thickness from the start. I had assumed Mel would be difficult to insert because of its tilt, but because it\u2019s so pillowy soft, it yields to Buster\u2019s body and slides without much struggle. The head\u2019s rim stands out a little while being thrusted, but all of Mel\u2019s veins and skin mottling? They disappear in use, compressed into oblivion because of how soft and fat Mel is. While that might disappoint texture lovers, it does make Mel a deliciously slick fuck. Despite its size, I could really pound the Mel, twisting it slightly with every rapid thrust to take advantage of its prominent veined underside.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Mel is incredibly filling. Though cushy, its sheer size makes Buster feel stretched deep and wide, the shaft wedges against their pubic bone. It doesn\u2019t directly stimulate Buster\u2019s g-spot but instead presses against <em>everything<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>As the dildo-handler, my only beef with the Mel is that its pliable base is hard to hold. It folds in my grasp and makes thrusting Mel by hand a pain in the ass. I have bad wrists, and the extra struggle makes them lock up even faster.<\/p>\n<h4><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"squarepegtoys_mel_and_harness_use\"><\/span><em>squarepegtoys mel and harness use<\/em><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>I was really excited to test out Mel as a harness dildo, but alas! It doesn\u2019t fit in my <a href=\"https:\/\/bettybutch.com\/index.php\/2019\/10\/23\/review-the-ardor-strap-on-harness-by-talisman-leather\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Talisman Leather Ardor<\/a>, and it\u2019s too cumbersome for my Temptasia Harness Briefs. I\u2019ve really got to start reviewing more <a href=\"https:\/\/shevibe.com\/strap-on-harnesses\/?rfsn=4817663.6e587d\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">harnesses<\/a>\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Just from using it other ways, I can guess that the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.peepshowtoys.com\/products\/squarepegtoys-mel-harness-supersoft-bronze-silicone-dildo-with-suction-cup?rfsn=7172466.b58f09\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">Mel SuperSoft Silicone Dildo<\/a> is probably a little clumsy in a harness. The supple silicone base cups my pubic mound like a <em>glove<\/em>. The Mel\u2019s sideways-curving shaft can make active riding\/bouncing complicated since it\u2019s not a straight shot back down, so grinding was our preferred way to play.
