It\u2019s made of a polyester (like a windbreaker) that\u2019s sleek and doesn\u2019t sweat. There\u2019s a thin layer of padding. They\u2019re classic alligator clamps: PVC-tipped prongs with a screw for adjusting their grip force. Ever wanted to clamp your partner\u2019s labia and leash them to their cuffed wrists? They\u2019re just so much more visually impactful. I love how they look, latched onto my partner\u2019s breasts, the chain straining between their heavy tits and the collar around their throat\u2026 Unfortunately, the black is just paint over the nickel-free iron the clamps and chains are made of, and it\u2019s already wearing off where they get touched the most. Boo!<\/p>\n<h4><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"scandal_submissive_collar_and_leash\"><\/span><em>scandal submissive <\/em><em>collar and leash<\/em><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/shareasale.com\/r.cfm?b=1624116&amp;u=3636866&amp;m=101452&amp;urllink=shevibe%2Ecom%2Fscandal%2Dsubmissive%2Dkit%2Dby%2Dcalexotics%2Easpx&amp;afftrack=\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">Scandal Submissive Kit<\/a> collar is 19.5 inches of polyester with a black lining made out of a material similar to a backpack strap. It conforms to the wearer\u2019s neck, but the lining makes it feel a little rigid. The lining can also chafe if you tug the collar around too much. It fastens not with a regular buckle or velcro, but instead has a double D-ring fastener. It\u2019s uncomfortable. The fastening leaves the excess length just hanging out. But most importantly it\u2019s unfriendly to newbies and folks with limited hand mobility. If they\u2019d gone with velcro like the matching Scandal cuffs, the collar would been been easier for (some) folks with limited finger articulation. Having it protrude off the wearer\u2019s throat helps prevent pinching. I also appreciate the neck size range \u2013 my partner and I have vastly different widths, and the Scandal collar fits either of us.<\/p>\n<p>As for the leash, it\u2019s alright. The chain <em>looks<\/em> fragile, but I\u2019ve given it some really good tugs and it\u2019s held strong. (It\u2019s also made of painted metal, and just like the clamps, that paint is wearing off.) The loop doesn\u2019t have the <a href=\"https:\/\/shareasale.com\/r.cfm?b=1624116&amp;u=3636866&amp;m=101452&amp;urllink=shevibe%2Ecom%2F%23%2F7e147441%2D90fb%2D4b09%2D8f98%2Dbcbffc2d8a7b%2Ffullscreen%2Fblog%5Bautofilters%5D%3Dfalse%26blog%5Bpage%5D%3D1%26blog%5Bquery%5D%3Dscandal%26blog%5Bquery%5Fname%5D%3Dfuzzy%26blog%5Brpp%5D%3D20%26product%5Bautofilters%5D%3Dfalse%26product%5Bfilter%5D%5Bbrand%5D%5B%5D%3DCalExotics%26product%5Bpage%5D%3D3%26product%5Bquery%5D%3Dscandal%26product%5Bquery%5Fname%5D%3Dmatch%5Fand%26product%5Brpp%5D%3D20&amp;afftrack=\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">CalExotics Scandal line<\/a>\u2019s black and burgundy patterned polyester, though, which makes it feel like an afterthought.<\/p>\n<h4><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"scandal_submissive_bondage_cuffs\"><\/span><em>scandal submissive <\/em><em>bondage cuffs<\/em><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>The cuffs \u2013 like the clamps \u2013 were made with versatile play in mind. They\u2019re fully detachable from each other, with clips than can be clicked onto the collar, leash, or wherever else you can find a thin fixture. You can start the scene with the cuffs already on but untethered, and eventually be fastened into submission. The painted metal clips and rings are all very sturdy.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/shareasale.com\/r.cfm?b=1624116&amp;u=3636866&amp;m=101452&amp;urllink=shevibe%2Ecom%2Fscandal%2Dsubmissive%2Dkit%2Dby%2Dcalexotics%2Easpx&amp;afftrack=\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">Scandal Submissive Kit<\/a> cuffs are constructed the same way as the collar: polyester outside, backpack strap lining inside. This means that just like the collar, they uncomfortably rub your skin if you squirm too much. Neither of us strained enough to get rug burn while playing, but notorious wigglers should be careful of their thrashing. For its asking price, I think they could have also included a basic ball gag, but otherwise the gear included \u2013 and the small but thoughtful tweaks that made them more versatile \u2013 offers a lot of room for <a href=\"https:\/\/shareasale.com\/r.cfm?b=1624116&amp;u=3636866&amp;m=101452&amp;urllink=shevibe%2Ecom%2Fbondage%2Dand%2Dfetish%2Dgear%2F&amp;afftrack=\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">experimentation<\/a>.
