Like the rest of the Sweet Magic line, it\u2019s a sex toy that wouldn\u2019t look amiss in a magical girl anime, assuming that the heroine was an adult and the villains were consenting to a very different kind of battle.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to a spunky aesthetic, the Confidence Wand boasts a delightful array of features. It\u2019s rechargeable, meaning vanquishing evil won\u2019t require batteries. It has 8 vibration settings (2 steady speeds and 6 patterns) and a heating mode. It purports to be quiet and flexible. Besides its flexible neck, the toy \u2013 including the wand head \u2013 is firm, with an incredibly soft and smooth silicone finish. The neck and a portion of the shaft will bend with force, which is unappealing news for those who need firm, pinpoint pressure; the <a href=\"https:\/\/shareasale.com\/r.cfm?b=1368996&amp;u=3636866&amp;m=89363&amp;urllink=www%2Ezalousa%2Ecom%2Fproducts%2Fconfidence%2Dfantasy%2Dviolet&amp;afftrack=\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Confidence Wand Style Massager<\/a> was definitely designed for folks that enjoy broadly-applied vibrations and a fair bit of give.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-1857\" src=\"https:\/\/bettybutch.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/shevibe_zaloconfidencewand_03-1024x539.png\" alt=\"A close-up of the plastic base. The shaft has some column-like indenting and some embellishing on either side of Zalo\u2019s logo. The plastic base has a rippled\/twisted texture that encourages the gold to gleam when the light catches it. And of course, the tiny Swarovski crystal. Like the Desire Self-Thrusting Dildo, the Confidence is a lovely blend of cutesy and elegant.<\/p>\n<h4><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"talking_about_controls_by_daylight%E2%80%A6\"><\/span><em>talking about controls by daylight\u2026<\/em><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/shareasale.com\/r.cfm?b=1368996&amp;u=3636866&amp;m=89363&amp;urllink=www%2Ezalousa%2Ecom%2Fproducts%2Fconfidence%2Dfantasy%2Dviolet&amp;afftrack=\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Confidence Wand Style Massager<\/a> is controlled by a tiny lever on its base. To turn it on, press the lever backwards; a white light will turn on at the lever\u2019s base. Press it again to click through the settings, and pull it forward to go back a setting. The heating feature is initiated by holding the lever down until the light turns red. To turn the Confidence off, pull the lever forwards and hold it until the light goes out.<\/p>\n<p>It was initially weird to use a lever instead of buttons, but after I got used to it, I started to appreciate how much easier it was to operate the Confidence Wand without looking. No more pawing around for minuscule silicone indents and clicking the wrong button!<\/p>\n<p>For a tiny plastic thing, it\u2019s pretty sturdy too.<\/p>\n<h4><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"looking_for_vibrations_that_are_just_right\"><\/span><em>looking for vibrations that are just right<\/em><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>I\u2019m always nervous to try a vibrator from a brand that\u2019s new to me. Will it be weak and buzzy? Will I have to spend hours testing a toy that makes me itchy and frustrated?<\/p>\n<p>Fate \u2013 and Zalo \u2013 was kind to me with the <a href=\"https:\/\/shareasale.com\/r.cfm?b=1368996&amp;u=3636866&amp;m=89363&amp;urllink=www%2Ezalousa%2Ecom%2Fproducts%2Fconfidence%2Dfantasy%2Dviolet&amp;afftrack=\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Confidence Wand<\/a>: while it\u2019s not as strong as I was hoping, its vibrations are definitely on the rumbly side of the buzz\/rumble spectrum. So it\u2019s almost as strong as the <a href=\"https:\/\/shareasale.com\/r.cfm?b=1624116&amp;u=3636866&amp;m=101452&amp;urllink=shevibe%2Ecom%2Fnoje%2Dfauna%2Dmini%2Dwand%2Dstyle%2Dvibrator%2Dwith%2Dtwo%2Dattachments%2Dby%2Dblush%2Dsage%2F&amp;afftrack=\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Noje Mini Wand<\/a>, which is half the price. But since a large slice of this toy\u2019s appeal <em>isn\u2019t<\/em> its functionality (cus let\u2019s be honest here, we want it cus it\u2019s cute as fuck) I don\u2019t feel cheated by the lack of pelvic-pummeling fury. (But if <em>you<\/em> were lured in hopes of a lightweight, flexible, and cordless but <em>powerful<\/em> wand, try the <a href=\"https:\/\/shareasale.com\/r.cfm?b=1624116&amp;u=3636866&amp;m=101452&amp;urllink=shevibe%2Ecom%2Fpalmpower%2Drecharge%2Dwaterproof%2Dwand%2Dmassager%2Dwith%2Dremovable%2Dsilicone%2Dcap%2Dfuschia&amp;afftrack=\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">PalmPower<\/a> instead.)<\/p>\n<p>But though I\u2019m not disappointed in the vibration quality, I\u2019m pretty disappointed in Zalo\u2019s choice to limit the <a href=\"https:\/\/shareasale.com\/r.cfm?b=1368996&amp;u=3636866&amp;m=89363&amp;urllink=www%2Ezalousa%2Ecom%2Fproducts%2Fconfidence%2Dfantasy%2Dviolet&amp;afftrack=\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Confidence Wand<\/a> to just two steady settings. That\u2019s some oldschool <a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/47x9y\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Hitachi Magic Wand<\/a> nonsense\u2026 A minimum of three speeds is a reasonable expectation of a modern vibrator, in my (snobby) opinion. Three gives folks a range to work with, either to find their ideal spot, or to build up to orgasm at their own pace. Give Goldilocks some options!<\/p>\n<h4><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"she_is_the_one_named%E2%80%A6_patterns_boo\"><\/span><em>she is the one named\u2026 patterns, boo!<\/em><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>The most jarring thing about the Zalo Confidence Wand\u2019s dearth of steady speeds is that the varied strengths used in its six patterned settings include more than just two speeds. The ability to have varying steady speeds was there \u2013 they just relegated it to round out the patterns. Boo! <em>BOOO!<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/shareasale.com\/r.cfm?b=1368996&amp;u=3636866&amp;m=89363&amp;urllink=www%2Ezalousa%2Ecom%2Fproducts%2Fconfidence%2Dfantasy%2Dviolet&amp;afftrack=\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Confidence Wand<\/a> has two rapid pulse settings: the<em> bzzt-bzzt-bzzt<\/em>, and a <em>bzbzbzbz<\/em>. If you\u2019ve ever had a vibrator with patterns, you know what I mean. It also has two ramp-up settings (one quick and pulsing, the other slow and with a pause), and two weird ones with varied speeds.<\/p>\n<h4><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"preheating_that_will_never_overextend\"><\/span><em>preheating that will never overextend<\/em><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>I own plenty of vibrators that heat up during use, but that\u2019s usually an unfortunate byproduct of long sessions and smothering outer labia. It warms up gradually over two minutes, after which the feature automatically shuts off. It\u2019s definitely hotter than body temperature, but not by much. As a Floridian, I\u2019m not likely to use the heating mode often\u2026 but it was nice when the temperature dropped in February. It certainly wasn\u2019t like feeling the warmth of skin-on-skin, but when paired with vibration, it was a sear of added sensation that I could enjoy rather than panicking that my toy was about to forcibly shut off.<\/p>\n<p>It does cool down again, at which point you can click the warming back on.<\/p>\n<h4><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"flexible_neck_that_can_360-degree_bend\"><\/span><em>flexible neck that can 360-degree bend<\/em><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>Because of the <a href=\"https:\/\/shareasale.com\/r.cfm?b=1368996&amp;u=3636866&amp;m=89363&amp;urllink=www%2Ezalousa%2Ecom%2Fproducts%2Fconfidence%2Dfantasy%2Dviolet&amp;afftrack=\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Zalo Confidence Wand<\/a>\u2019s flexibility and head shape, I can\u2019t get the targeted pressure on the side of my clit like I prefer\u2026 but a wand isn\u2019t meant for that. It\u2019s meant to provide broadly-distributed massaging, and the Confidence Wand <em>definitely<\/em> achieves this. The neck bends to compensate for my body when I rock my hips or tilt the handle. The <a href=\"https:\/\/shareasale.com\/r.cfm?b=1368996&amp;u=3636866&amp;m=89363&amp;urllink=www%2Ezalousa%2Ecom%2Fproducts%2Fconfidence%2Dfantasy%2Dviolet&amp;afftrack=\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Confidence Wand Style Massager<\/a> charges via USB cord (you can plug it into your computer, or the charger adapter for most phones) and takes an hour to charge. I actually really love the charge cord for the Confidence, it clicks solidly into place and it\u2019s vastly superior to finickier pin-tipped cords that rely on weak magnets to stay.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/shevibe.com\/zalo\/?rfsn=4817663.6e587d\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Zalo<\/a> says a single charge should get 2-4 hours of use. I hog the highest setting and repeatedly click the heating mode, and I get somewhere between 1.5 and 2 hours.<\/p>\n<h4><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"she_is_the_one_named%E2%80%A6_not_waterproof\"><\/span><em>she is the one named\u2026 not waterproof!<\/em><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/shareasale.com\/r.cfm?b=1368996&amp;u=3636866&amp;m=89363&amp;urllink=www%2Ezalousa%2Ecom%2Fproducts%2Fconfidence%2Dfantasy%2Dviolet&amp;afftrack=\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Zalo Confidence Wand<\/a> is \u201csplashproof\u201d, not waterproof. This means you can\u2019t submerge it when cleaning! You can hold it under running water for a few seconds while cleaning it before\/after use.
